The Space can be shared with the owners of the house contact +351. 919. 927. 573. 0 THE HOUSE: Shared Spacious villa with a large surrounding green area with more than 5000 m2 to enjoy a quiet and relaxing days in the middle of nature. The yard has fruit trees, vegetable garden, flowers as well as farm animals (sheep, chickens, rabbits). Guest access Guests can enjoy the whole house, which is open, furniture or enclosed spaces are exclusive to the owner of the house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 with private bath and all have double bed. COMMON AREAS The living room with fireplace is spacious with TV, sofas, table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, hob, fridge, microwave, crockery, dishwasher, etc. In the yard there is also a second kitchen (better known as "kitchen of the farmer") to make some beautiful barbecues !!! And a bake in a wood oven. Interaction with Guests CHECK-IN: During the stay, guests will be greeted by me. The entrance will be from 15h to 18h (after 18h have to combine) The Neighborhood A VILA: The village of Arouca is a place with lots of fresh air and centuries-old traditions. The regional sweets of Arouca are something that any visitor should experience, such as the melindres, the ball of St. Bernard, nun's bellies, etc. The area is also very rich in organic products, directly from the producer to the consumer. To the north of the village is the Calvary of the century. XVII, the old mines of tungsten, the fluvial beaches and some are destined for rafting, kayaking and canoing for its unique characteristics. Also try the Arouca specialties, arouquesa pork, veal medallions or veal chops made from the meat of animals raised on open pastures, served in the various restaurants scattered throughout the village. Go and Come TRANSPORTS: 50m from the house have access to buses and 200m have the central bus. At 700m there are also rent-a-car if you prefer to drive by car. Other Observations Arouca is 65km from Porto, 115km from Coimbra, 120km from Braga, 310 from Lisbon, 580km from Madrid. As promised here are some information about the region you are about to visit. Arouca lies in a valley between mountains 45 minutes off the Atlantic coast, with beautiful beaches of white and sunny sand, charming restaurants and other amusements. Porto, Portugal's second largest city and the capital of the northern region can also be reached within 45 minutes from here. This city has been recommended by Time magazine as one of the best destinations in Europe. There are also plenty of restaurants there, crosses the Douro River, a wonderful promenade with outdoor terraces and fantastic nightlife. But if you want to travel a little further south, there is Aveiro. The quaint town is an hour's drive away where you can take a boat tour of the canals and eat fresh fish locally caught and wonderful seafood. However, for nature lovers Arouca has a lot to offer. Rivers, streams, mountain hiking restaurants with tasty food, where you can enjoy the typical Arouquesa meat succulent proposal, quiet terraces in the center of town or simply soak up the sun in our gardens away from everything else. House Rules NO Smoking in the house, No noise is allowed after 10 pm Leave the house as you found it, respect the rules of hygiene and make the most of your stay!
