Very Good

“A lovely apartment in an idealic situation with plenty of charm.”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2017

We have just returned from a 3 night break with our friends to celebrate New Year. The apartment offered everything you could wish for and more and very convenient for the beach, restaurants and shops. We were greeted with a lovely hamper of treats. It was beautifully furnished and clean and having a sea view from the dining area was a bonus. We do hope to return in the Summer.

Owner's reply: "Thank you for taking the time to post a review, We are delighted you really enjoyed your stay over the New year, thank you for your kind comments it really is appreciated. We are very pleased that you wish to come back again. " Lisa and Bob Smith."

“Sorry that we're leaving!”

Well, our stay is nearly over, just one day to go, and we've had a wonderful time at The Lookout. Couldn't have asked for more from the accommodation, everything you can possibly need is there and watching the sun rise over the sea through the french doors is an absolute joy. Aldeburgh itself is an eclectic mix of houses, history, pubs, eating places, and shops for almost anything you might want. A lovely break, thanks for everything Lisa.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to post a review, there is something very beautiful about seeing the sun rise over the sea for the early risers..We are delighted you really enjoyed your stay. thank you for your kind comments it really is appreciated. We hope to welcome you back one day. Lisa and Bob Smith

“Happy memories of a lovely holiday”

Reviewed 22 Jul 2014

A beautiful house and location. Awaiting us on arrival, was a comprehensive welcome box of food, along with a bottle of wine cooling in the fridge. The view from the kitchen/lounge windows (of the beach and seafront) was spectacular, a great way to have breakfast and start our day. Very well equipped and furnished with the added extra of Sky TV, the house met all our expectations. Local amenities in Aldeburgh were excellent, consisting of various restaurants, pubs and non-chain shops. A nice walk along the coastal path took us to the very pretty village of Thorpeness and a great pub/restaurant called the 'Dolphin'. All in all a lovely place to spend lazy days and acquire lovely memories.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments and the positive review. We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at The Aldeburgh Lookout. To hear we exceeded your expectations is a very pleasing response, thank you. Please do come back when you can, we are open all year ! Best Wishes, Bob and Lisa.
