“Central location, great price, excellent hosts” Mango Street Casita is a great find in Drake Bay-it's an excellent value, centrally located, and has comfortable accommodations. The casita is decorated with colorfully ethnic art, it has all of the kitchen gear to cook your own meals, and it's quiet. Mario and Nichole were great hosts and offered us a wealth of information about tour options, guides, and restaurants. They patiently answered all of our questions before and during our trip and their 4-year old daughter Francesca is adorable! The birding right outside our patio was fantastic. For those nature lovers looking for a little luxury in the wilderness, Mango Street Casita is perfect.

“Perfect accomodation in paradise!” We stayed at Pete's Place for three nights just before Christmas. We loved this charming house. It was the perfect accommodation for us. We loved the space, the privacy and the pool. The location was also great as we were within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and a short drive to the national park. Pete was a wonderful host. He was very prompt when answering my questions while booking and was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The house itself was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and a real bonus when we arrived after our drive from San Jose, was the complimentary beverages and food in the fridge. It was much appreciated after a long trip. The pool and front yard of the house were set in the jungle and it felt like we were the only ones on the property. The grounds were kept very clean and the pool was amazing. It was huge and set in such a beautiful tropical setting. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time and enjoyed watching the birds and relaxing in such a beautiful setting. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property as it truly felt like home and we were sad to leave and wished we could have stayed a bit longer.
