“Spacious home and beautiful surroundings! Animal lovers rejoice!” Casa Montezuma is a magnificent vacation home. You are surrounded by lush jungle and the chittering and twittering of innumerable creatures. Like Donna says, if you just wait, they will come! During the day, hummingbirds, agoutis, Capuchin monkeys, raccoons, and a variety of butterflies, are just a fraction of the wildlife you can enjoy as you sit on the veranda! The cooling breezes and gecko chirps will lull you to sleep in the evening. Casa Montezuma is very spacious and comfortable and Donna and Tito are always available to answer questions and offer recommendations about sightseeing and yummalicious eateries. You will feel a sense of peace and remoteness but you are within easy access of the towns of Cabuya and Montezuma. This is a great place to be introduced to the Nicoya Peninsula lifestyle.
“Great surroundings!” It's a bit of a trek into Montezuma but the tranquility and view make up for it. The pool is cool and refreshing. We spent 3 nights at Jodokus and truly appreciated all the extra effort Ype extended to us.
“Amazing week at la Colina de Carolina” Very peaceful and cozy, fantastic views. Gorgeous sunrise and peaceful evenings. Spent the week living outside on the huge wrap around deck lounging in the hammock. We saw so much wildlife around the property. Birds, parrots, monkeys... The landscaping is beautiful. The house is very well equipped and looked after. Bladimir the caretaker does a good job and is always available and so professional. We even barbecued a freshly caught mahi mahi on a little charcoal Bbq. Beautiful peaceful town of Montezuma nearby. (A rental car is a huge bonus going up and down the big hill). Alex from ecotours was very helpful setting us up with Captain Willy for deep-sea fishing and Tortuga Island snorkeling tours. Ginette and Carole were also only a phone call away for any info and so quick to get back to us!! Home away from home! We will be back!!
