“Stunning....” We had a fantastic time here. The views are stunning and the house is really a home from home. We stayed here for Christmas 2017 and Kathleen very kindly put up a tree for us and made the house very festive looking. It was a lovely touch. The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you could need. We loved the open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area as it meant we could cook and chat together. Also to have the big stove fire made the room extra cosy. The house has three decking areas , which obviously given it was winter we didn’t get to use much, but I can imagine what a fantastic place it would be to stay in the spring/summer,be it with family or a group of friends. Lots of run around space for kids as well. It’s a beautiful area to stay in, lots to do and see. We had some great meals out in Ballydehob which has a great buzz about the place and there are some breathtaking walks nearby. I highly recommend staying at Heron Cove. It’s truly beautiful.Thank you again Kathleen for everything. We will be back!

“Wonderful stay in the best part of Ireland” My family of 3, with extended family and friends joining us stayed for nearly a week in Brandon Mountain Cottage. The cottage suited us perfectly, comfortable bedrooms, nice sitting room with a turf fire, and best of all were the views of the bay which we never tired of. Linda went out of her way to make our teenager feel at home and provided activities and suggestions that we all enjoyed. My teenager especially enjoyed jumping off the pier in Brandon. The setting is fantastic and we so enjoyed walking to the local beach and watching the extreme tides. I would highly recommend this place and hope I get to return to the Dingle Peninsula soon.

“Brilliant Holiday Cottage” We never had such a warm welcome. Our hosts Eileen and Robert were waiting for us with a hot cup of thee and the fireplace was burning! We got all information about the area. The house was very clean and comfortable! We didn’t have to think of new wood for the stove, all things you forget to take with you like salt etc were in the house, rubbish was each time taken away. Thanks for the very fine stay in your little piece of Heaven!

“Real Ireland, beautiful Kerry, lovely cottage with the best host” Most importantly, Anne and Patrick are wonderful hosts and lovely people. During our week long stay, our family greatly enjoyed getting to know their family including all four children, Sox the Cat and Scruffy the dog (plus the cows and the chickens). The cottage is darling and impeccably clean: 3 large bedrooms with 3 modern bathrooms (the best showers in Ireland!), a beautiful kitchen with everything you need, lovely family room and patio, plus a washing machine and dryer. Anne may even surprise you with apple tarts with fresh cream! Great location to explore both Kerry and Cork (you are right off the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara), quick drive into Kenmare, or just chill out in the stunning beauty of the Irish countryside. Our family of 5 (three teenage children) kept pretty busy exploring. All of anne's recommendations for adventure/dining were spot on! Next trip, we will spend some more time just hanging out at the cottage. One quick story: we blew out a tire one evening in the Gap of Dunloe. We could have spent half a day finding a repair shop and getting it fixed, but Patrick made one phone call to a friend at a tire shop who met me (at 6:00 in the morning!) and had us road ready by 6:45 a.m. Saved the day! Thanks to their son, Shane, my son and I have become big fans of hurling. Shane gave us a hurling lesson and helped us buy tickets to a GaA match at Croke Park in Dublin. We highly recommend that you check out Gaelic sports when you're in Ireland. We are home now, but can't wait to go back to Doire Farm!

“Brilliant place to stay in Tipperary.” Well where to start! The welcome from Marion was warm and helpful. Marion met us at the nearby petrol station and we followed her to the Cottage. We loved the Cottage. Light, bright and very clean. Shower was great, bed great and the kitchen was fully equipped. Also very quite.Plenty of room for 6 people. When we arrived Marion had a special bundle of goodies waiting for us . Home made cake, coffee and apple juice. The open fire was lit and ready for us to sit in front of. Thank you Marion for making our 5 nights in Tipperary so very special. Tony and Lee.

“home away from home!” this old newly restored farmhouse is very cosy and comfortable. it is situaed close to sleahaed and only e few kilometer away from the town of dingle, where you find shops, restaurants and pubs and of course Fungy. from the house you have a beautful outlook to the sea and you can do very nice walks towards the seashore or up the mountains behind you. the house is clean, very well furnisshed and the kitchen will offer you anything you might need. there is a beautiful garden with lovely green bushes and flowers, and you find total privacy. mr. and mrs. garvey are heartful, friendly people who represent the hospitality which is the second nature of the irish.
