“The perfect west Ireland retreat” Fantastic cottage for a get away from it all holiday. Very well equipped, quality soft furnishing and white goods - very much a home from home where you can relax in solitude. Very remote but enjoyed this can highly recommend to those who enjoy peace and tranquility.

“Blissful stay in rural surroundings in tastefully restored farmhouse” This property has been lovingly and tastefully restored. It is close to beaches, pubs but has a beutiful air of rural tranquility. Five of us stayed but it could easily have fitted eight. The view out to the sleeping giant in the evening sun is magnificent. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property to all . It is of the highest standard.

“Lovely studio in beautiful Cork countryside” Very close to Clonakilty and Rosscarbery in Cork. The food in the area was amazing. great fish and chips at Fishy Fishy cafe Kinsale (recommended by our hosts), market at Schull was great. Lovely countryside. Easy drive to Cork, Kinsale, Ring of Kerry. We really enjoyed a day trip to Dingle. (also very good fish and chips) We found the back lanes really interesting too and managed not to get too lost (a sat nav was very helpful).. The studio is very close to where Michael Collins was born. Nicely appointed and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside is lovely in all directions. There is a small stone circle near Rosscarbery which you get to through a paddock. Glandore and Unionhall are well worth looking at. Absolutely picturesque. We enjoyed the food at the Lettercollum Kitchen Project shop in Clonakilty where we were given lots of great touring ideas from the people in the shop, both behind the counter and in the queue. Finding the studio at night was difficult, but would be much easier with sat nav location.

“Brilliant Holiday Cottage” We never had such a warm welcome. Our hosts Eileen and Robert were waiting for us with a hot cup of thee and the fireplace was burning! We got all information about the area. The house was very clean and comfortable! We didn’t have to think of new wood for the stove, all things you forget to take with you like salt etc were in the house, rubbish was each time taken away. Thanks for the very fine stay in your little piece of Heaven!

“Everything was perfect” We loved our stay at Gentian Cottage. The house accommodated our family of five perfectly and had everything we needed. We loved the area, and enjoyed the peat fire after days spent exploring. The house was very clean and well- maintained. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
