“Amazing Abruzzo” We stayed at Gaimia Villas for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Mike was a great host and always answered emails promptly and was very helpful prior to arrival. Arnie welcomed us and helped settle us in, providing beautiful white cherries from the garden and a welcoming bottle of wine. He even accompanied us to the supermarket in Sulmona. A very thoughtful man. The unit was spacious, well appointed, very clean and the massive balcony set it off beautifully, providing a magnificent outdoor space to admire the natural beauty of Abruzzo. The grounds surrounding the units were lovely to walk in and a credit to the work of Mike and Arnie. We had a car and were able to travel to many villages, including nearby Sulmona which was so rich in history. Mike and Arnie were able to help us with many suggestions of places to visit. Mike also included us in several culturally rich local experiences and these made our stay in Abruzzo particularly special. Thank you for opening our eyes to this stunning region of Italy and for providing such excellent, well priced and appointed units.
