“Fabulous villa and pool” We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Nuala! The villa was far larger than we anticipated - so spacious especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. We found it very well equipped and immaculately clean, both inside and outside. The pool was superb and Annabel our youngest daughter was delighted with all the inflatable toys (as were the teenagers!) The sun loungers were most comfortable.
Thank you so much for organising the transfers to and from the airport - such a professional company - so friendly and efficient. So less stressful than driving and due to the villa's close proximity to The Marina, there is little need for a car. With hindsight we should have taken a taxi to a large supermarket at the beginning of our stay and stocked up for the week - instead we walked to Jafers each day and bought what we could carry which probably wasn't very cost effective!
Thank you also for the restaurant recommendations - we had excellent meals and service at The Fisherman's Shack and at Zagolas - both exceptionally good value for money. We also ate at Peppers at The Tivoli Hotel - more pricey but fabulous food and service as were the other restaurants on The Marina that we ate at. However the location of those restaurants warranted the price!
We have already recommend Villa Nuala to friends since we went to a party last night and I've shared photographs! We would love to return!
Had an absolutely fantastic time. We had one of the refurbished villas which was very comfortable indeed. The gardens and pool area are brilliant and the resort is lovely and quiet perfect for families. Vicky and Jamie who manage the bar and resteraunt area are delightful and only too pleased to help, I also highly recommend Vicky's home made nachos, delicious !!!!
We look forward to returning to our little oasis in Vilamoura, don't want to say too much as I would rather it stayed our little secret. …
Villa Andro 4 bedroom with private pool
Excellent perfect for a family holiday!
Arrived at the villa about 9.30 on a Friday evening, so couldn't stop at a supermarket for the essentials! Welcome pack would be a good idea for late arrivals! Saying that the villa was excellent, plenty of space in the bedrooms, lovely large lounge (although we didn't spend much time there) sat outside by the lovely pool, and the garden which was totally enclosed by hedges making the garden very private and safe for young children. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest supermarket, but a short, cheap taxi fare gets you there, and a short walk away (2mins) gets you to a really great restaurant, Café Del Arte, well worth a visit. In conclusion I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and my contact Mr Carlos Ramos was extremely helpful with any questions I had prior to our visit. …
Fantastic stay at Villa Nuala. This was our second time there and we will definitely return. The villa is in a lovely quiet residential area within easy walking distance to the marina where there are plenty of lovely places to eat and to enjoy a stroll, and to the beach. The villa has everything you need for a perfect holiday and is very clean. The rooms are very spacious and the pool and garden is lovely. The outside seating area is a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening. Nuala is lovely to deal with - she gives you all the information you need to ensure you have a great worry free holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending Villa Nuala. …
Myself and 9 friends stayed here for 4 nights. It is a fantastic villa, plenty of room, great pool area and in a very quiet area. There’s a great games/cinema room in the basement as well.
It’s a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and a 6-7 minute drive or taxi to Vilamoura Marina or to the front at Quarteira.
I’d highly recommend Villa Hera to anyone who is interested in staying there. …
Enjoyable Stay but needs a bit of an upgrade
We stayed at Villa Lopez last week and everyone had a great time and the photos are very accurate. Met with Raul a few times and he couldn’t be more helpful, great owner.
But, the point of a review is to give the good and bad so I’ll list them here in as much detail as possible.
Pool - great size and varied depth meaning it is good for young and old however the heating didn’t really make any noticeable difference and for 200 euros a week it really should. The owner did turn on the jacuzzi for us that we used to acclimatise a bit before going in which helped.
Villa Facilities - really well stocked kitchen with modern appliances meant it was great for cooking in, didn’t use the BBQ area but that also looked pretty good. Outdoor toilet area was clean and well maintained. The main living area is huge however as another reviewer had noted, the sofas are very uncomfortable and actually difficult to sit on.
Pool table was good and we enjoyed using it however bring some chalk as there is none.
The beds are very uncomfortable, master bedroom in particular where the mattress is very hard, almost to the point of not being able to sleep in it.
All the toilets and bathrooms have clearly been upgraded and are excellent.
Overall a lovely villa but it needs some money spent on the main living area and the beds in particular to really feel like it’s worth the price. I probably wouldn’t go back simply because of the beds as I found it very difficult to sleep. If they were improved then I probably would! …
Pinhal de Golfe beautiful sun filled apartment
Just back from a week here. Had my concerns due to lack of reviews. But they proved unfounded. Apartment was lovely, modern, clean and good size. Main balcony was a good size and looks over garden area around pool. There is a smaller balcony on the twin bedroom again with nice view. The pool area is clean and surrounded by well maintained gardens with mature trees. This is a closed private complex which feels safe. There is a local restaurant/bar right next to complex, good food, service and the best prices we encountered in vilamoura. The taxi driver Andrie recommended by Tommy the apartment owner was very reliable and knew exactly where villa was, again one less worry. The apartment was a 12min walk to nearest supermarket (spar) and 20mins to marina area but it's a pleasant flat walk. The tourist train can be got close by and costs 6euros for an all day ticket.
To only minor negative I had was the sun loungers are in need of replacement and washing machine in utility room leaked when we tried to use it. Possibly a list of apartment instructions would be handy.
All in all a great holiday, and I could fully recommend this apartment as great value.
