“Fantastic!” I knew from the pictures on the website that this would be a cool place for my husband and me to stay (8 nights), but what exceeded expectations were: the extra, thoughtful amenities such as bathrobes; the cuteness of tiny Montefollonico (tiny and non-touristy, yet with 3+ killer-good restaurants, don't miss Botte Piena); the easy access to other, medieval hill towns, and more. Even drying our clothes in the sunshine on the turret was a blast. The only thing that went "wrong" was one night when we wanted to cook, the stove was out of gas. I happened to email Wendy, who was back in NYC, about it and within 5 minutes she had Luciano there replacing it for us! Now, that's service! -Abby Ruben/Eddie Cohen, Mpls.
