“Fantastic place, really close to the beach!!” Aloha! We had a great time at this condo! It is very close to the beach and made walking out for the sunsets really convenient! Everything you need for a relaxing time is here!! Views from the lanai are good!! Kihei is centrally located and made getting around the Island very easy! The concierge at Village By The Sea is very helpful and will get you some of the excursions for a discounted price...always nice!! The owner of this condo was very helpful and accommodating...can't thank him enough! We can't wait to come back!! Mahalo!!!

“We felt right at home.” As we walked into our condo we felt right at home, as it was furnished with more than we could use. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and small appliances. The view was beautiful looking out onto the colorful grounds, palms and ocean. Our only complaint was that the bedroom gets very warm. It seems like it should perhaps have an a/C unit there for comfort at night. My husband chose to sleep in the Murphy bed in the LR since it was much cooler. On the plus side, there are fans everywhere. Great value in a well-kept place.

“Wonderful well kept unit with a gorgeous view!” We stayed at Papakea Resort, Unit G-407 in October. My husband and I along with my older son had a great time in Maui. This unit is very close to the ocean front with a full view. We had drinks and many suppers on the Lani, watching the sunsets. G-407 is on the top floor. It has a very nice loft with two single beds or one king bed, along with an additional bathroom which was handy. Nobody was fighting for the showers. The kitchen is fully supplied, with wonderful cutlery, pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, coffee maker and many other things that most vacation rentals don't have. They also had body surf boards, umbrellas and beach towels. This unit was recommended to us by a friend. I would highly recommend it to anybody. We were in Maui for a wedding and everybody that came to our unit loved it. Upon arrival it was very clean. Parking is also convenient with an easy check in procedure. This is where I am hopefully staying every time we come to Maui.

“Magical Maui” Tracy's Tropical Treasure was our home away from home. She has provided everything in this unit that you could ever want, even things we didn't know we would need. It was clean, bright and cheery and most of all, convenient to not only the beach right across the street, but also to the restaurants and shops in Kihei. The pool and hot tub were never crowded and having the barbecues closeby, made cooking those steaks just a few steps from the front door.

“33a at Ekahi Village and Maui are one of our favorite holidays” This is the second time we have stayed in 33a , There are so many wonderful things about the condo. It is very close to the big pool and convenient for walking to the beach and jumping in the warm ocean many times a day!!! There is everything you could ever need for cooking as well as other conveniences . I knew when I needed a flashlight that I would find one there!! The condo is so comfortable and it feels like we are at home( but on Maui). The location of Ekahi Village is great. If you don't want to drive there are stores and restaurants in walking distance We look forward to our next visit!!!

“May never stay in a hotel again” Excellent ocean view. Good location, midway between major towns and popular beaches. Nothing is far away. No hassle rental process. Condo was full of amenities you would never have guessed a vacation rental would have. Very nice modern bathroom and kitchen. They thought of everything! Was literally like home away from home. Was quiet a peaceful everyday and night. Excellent beach short walk away. Watched small fish floating in the reef everyday. Restaurants/bars/shops within walking distant with great views. I am BBQ critic, and Beachbums restaurant had some of the best BBQ ribs I've ever tasted, and portions are huge. Because it was breezy everyday, we didn't have to use the air conditioner. We opened the front door and let the breeze blow through screen door. Free parking space is underground and out of the sun. Excellent rental. Hope to return soon.

“Fabulous Unit Right on the Water” We stay in West Maui every year and this condo is by far the best unit we have ever stayed at. The unit is beautifully remodeled and spotless and the location is the best part of all. The view is just breathtaking! Very quiet complex with a nice pool and bbqs oceanfront. We enjoyed all the comforts of home, if only this was home! We highly recommend this condo and plan to return next year.

“Luxurious, well maintained, quiet "Paradise Beach Condo".” Firstly, the location was within walking distance to three great beaches, local shopping and great restaurants. This newly renovated condo was a "Home away from Home" with a "Wow" factor. The grounds were well maniquered with a lovely pool, hot tub and BBQ. Every detail in beach accessory from boogie boards, to snorkling gear to beach chairs etc. was at your disposal for a great day at the beach. We will come back again!!!

“Lovely condo and wonderful vacation” My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with a 2 week trip to Hawaii. We stayed at this lovely condo for the last 6 days of our 14 day stay. It was just as it was described and pictured in the website, very comfortable and a nice change after 8 days of hotels. There is a beautiful view and we ate many meals on the lanai. The owners provided lots of great suggestions and the wifi in the condo was great, so we could use our iPad to discover other local gems. The location on the west side of Maui is near many wonderful snorkeling sites, and snorkeling became our favorite outing of the trip. The beach towels and chairs also added to our comfort and enjoyment of the beaches.

“Near the action yet quiet.” It was a short walk to a beautiful beach and quite a lot of traffic before there but the condo was quiet with the sounds of birds and a cool breeze passing through so AC wasn't needed even in the heat of summer.

“Paradise Found!” My husband, daughter, boyfriend and myself just returned from spending 8 glorious days at this unit. From booking the reservation to checking out, Ryan (the owner) was extremely prompt in returning emails, answering questions and making sure we were informed about our stay. Upon stepping into the unit, we were thrilled to see that the photos on the website are exactly what the unit looks like. The view is direct oceanfront, literally 10 feet to the seawall and the ocean beyond. The condo itself is updated and has a very nice kitchen, bath and 1/2 bath, nice tile floors and great outdoor furniture on the lanai. The bedrooms are at the back of the house, but we could distinctly hear the waves crashing all night long; very relaxing way to fall asleep. The little extras like boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler, etc. all helped to make beach days easy and affordable. The purified water system allowed us to refill our water containers each day and save money by not having to purchase bottled water. We spent most nights at the condo cooking dinner and watching the sunset. We also watched movies and listened to music on Ryan's awesome T.V. and sound system. The condo is tasteful, updated and comfortable - perfect for 4 people. With the 1/2 bath, there were 2 areas to get ready in which made having one shower doable. The location of this condo was perfect. We could go one direction and be in Napiili or the other and be in Kaanapali or Lahaina, all within 10-15 minutes. There are shops nearby within walking distance. My husband and I spent many mornings walking the beach walk located only a couple blocks from the condo. Maui Sands is an older complex and the pool, pool furniture and laundry facilities are quite outdated but the mature grounds and beautiful landscaping are awesome. Overall, this condo was exactly as described and in a perfect location. We'd love to rent it again in the future and I highly recommend this gem in Maui.

“condo with a cottage atmosphere” We have used Rentals Maui a number of times and appreciate their friendly and effective service. Waiohuli Beach Hale is a small, beach front condo complex and its units have a cottage feel to them. Charlie Young Beach is lovely for strolling, but not recommended for swimming. The evening view of sunsets on or about the isle of Lana'i are romantic classics. We were located beside the pool which is a good size and my wife enjoyed swimming lengths. At four and a half feet deep it was used mainly for social recreation. We enjoyed the sounds of family fun and socializing from there and the nearby BBQ and shuffleboard area. In our experience the main sounds later in the evening,and early mornings, were birdsong or surf. That is, when the gardening crew were not up before breakfast with leaf blowers or mowing the lawn, mercifully not the rule. Unit #223 is adequately furnished, though the metal chairs throughout are not too comfortable, especially those on the lanai. We received a note of complaint for bringing out the unit's one comfortable chair to enjoy some time out from indoor heat and humidity. There is also a discomfort issue in the bedroom with the metal frame bed and a mattress which has gone beyond its expiry date. The bedroom a/c is noisy and effective only with the door closed. The kitchen on the other hand is modern and well-equipped. Unfortunately the previous tenants had accidentally destroyed the stove, but this was replaced very quickly - many thanks to the owners and management. There is a flat screen TV and stereo player; also beach chairs and boogie boards. However, the closet with beach stuff, cleaning hardware and towels was in need of cleaning and airing out. The bathroom is bright and clean. We liked the open shower - much like our home design - but surely there's a design flaw in having to stand under the shower to turn it on - refreshing dash of cold spray to some perhaps. “A piece of heaven” Our vacation at the Waiohuli Beach Hale was the best experience we've had yet in Maui. The condo was spotless, and well appointed with everything we needed from towels and beach chairs to tupperware and coolers. We loved the central location in Kihei close to everything we wanted including the grocery store just down the street. The lani was perfect for meals, and for watching the sunset every night. The only bad thing was having to leave. We hope to be back to this wonderful complex soon. Thanks to Todd & Sue for sharing their piece of heaven.
