“Fantastical” The apartment was literally home from home, we felt very at ease and able to relax comfortably. We had everything we needed and more - none of your basics here. The 24/7 security gives us girls on our own real peace of mind. Security were also very helpful regarding taxis, information on the local area and queries regarding the apartment complex. The apartment is situated fairly close to the Marina - over the bridge and you're in Lagos town with lots of great restaurants with good food reasonably priced. Local buses made it very easy getting about. Local taxis were also reasonably priced. We would recommend to visitors the small train which leaves the Marina every hour and takes in some interesting places the spectacular views. “Wonderful holiday” We stayed here for one week with our two children aged 4 and 2. It was our first visit to Portugal and everything about the holiday was wonderful. The accommodation was perfect - having our own pool was great and the layout of the villa worked brilliantly with 2 under 5s. There is a little garden and play area which the children loved and the hens and geese were a great source of entertainment. Teresa and Jose are excellent hosts - respecting your privacy whilst being there if you need any information on which beaches to go to or where to eat etc. The location is remote so you are away from the 'tourist' centres - we would definitely recommend a stay here if you strive for peace and tranquility. A real find!

“Great Family Holiday” This was our second visit to Jardim da Meia Praia, stayed here with my husband and 3 children (2 teenagers), it is a tastefully decorated spacious apartment with good wifi (top priority for teenagers) with a large balcony overlooking the gardens and pool. There is a tennis court which we used regularly, the pool is a really good size and maintained to a high standard. The complex is safe, secure and friendly. The beach and Lagos town is only a short drive away, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the town, you can park easily in the large car park near the marina and walk over the bridge into Lagos, which we did regularly in the evenings. We also spent the day at Slide & Splash which is a large aqua park, approximately 35 minute drive away – a great day out. There are plenty of places to explore in the area. We had a great family holiday
