“Serene luxury in a perfect location.” For a relaxing break away from it all Sunset Valley is perfectly placed in the foothills of the Besparmak mountians overlooking the sea and it certainly deserves it's name. Only a 25 minute drive to the bustling harbour of Kyrenia yet fully served by nearby supermarkets on the main road for those of us who prefer to escape from it all and experiment cooking with local ingredients in the fully equipped and modern kitchen. The split level ground floor makes for a welcome homely feel while the superb open air first floor terrace makes al fresco dinning seem like it is a scene from the movies. The pool is immaculately maintained and is positioned just right to catch the day long sun. The owners help arrange the car hire from Ecran airport and couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a full 2 thumbs up from us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Fabulous Apartment with Stunning Views” The apartment was a pleasant surprise and the pools were always quiet - in fact most days we swam on our own - it was like being in heaven. It was just what we were looking for, and more. It was nice to get away from the crowds in such lovely surroundings with wonderful sea views. The pool was exceptionally clean and well maintained, as was the apartment which we found to be very spacious and provided everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The complex itself is clean and cared for and a very safe environment for children. There are a handful of restaurants in the area and I would recommend car hire to fully explore the island. Hemmingways Restaurant at the new marina is a must for a nice drive out and spot of lunch and one or two fantastic beaches along the way. This is an ideal place to simply unwind and take in some glorious sunsets from your balcony and of course the Cyprus weather is guaranteed to make you smile. The apartment and the complex surpassed all expectation and I would totally recommend it, not overlooking the fact that it offers excellent value for money. I hope that not too many people find out about this little treasure and I very much look forward to staying there again in the future.

“Great location for a relaxing holiday” This apartment is located on a beautiful complex with well maintained gardens and a lovely pool to keep cool on those very hot days. There is a sea view and its great to be able to walk out the door and walk along the shore. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday, the owner gave us lots of useful information and was there to meet us on arrival. I would highly recommend the apartment and we have already re-booked. The local ares offers lots of options in terms of restaurants, bars, beaches, great for walking, historical sites and you must take a trip to Kyrenia and the Karpas.

“perfect place for a super holiday” when we booked the villa we found the whole experience from start to finish to be very straight forward. all communication was done by e-mail, and the owner could not have been more helpful. we were asked if we would like a hire car and airport transfers arranged. when we arrived at the villa we found the key in the pre-arranged place, there was a welcome pack which saw us through to the next morning. the villa lived up to all expectations, it is very well maintained with 3 good sized bedrooms, and air conditioning in all rooms, we found the villa to be very spacious and comfortable, and the views from the villa are stunning, especially the sunset. the swimming pool is fabulous and is cleaned twice a week. there are plenty of shops to buy your daily shopping, and the nearest taverna is about half a mile away from the villa, so you do need transport to get you about.

“Fantastic villa location Shirley Valentine” We have just spent a fab two weeks at Sunset Valley Villa. The villa has everything you need including sky tv and xbox ideal for young boys ... we found the area very Momamia/Shirley Valantine ... no taxi service but local restaurants happy to pick you up and drop you off. Car is a must and ladies leave your ten inch Kirk Geiger's at home. This holiday has definately converted us from all inclusives to villa's ... loved it!!!

“My best vacation ever!” We visited this villa in the beginning of May 2015, a family of 5 with three kids, 7 months, 6 and 9 years old and we had a absolutely fantastic stay. This place is so quiet and beautiful that I have never seen anything like it. All my previous travels to the Mediterranean has been through charter companies with all the racket and noise that comes with that - never again. This was a holiday with total peace and some astonishing scenery. The villa is fantastic and we were expecting high quality and the property proved to be above our high expectations. The owner truly understands the meaning of fully furnished, this place has everything. sunbeds, kitchen appliance, towels, bed lining, it`s all there. The only thing you need are a pair of swimming trunks, cause you will need them. Diving in this large spacious swimming pool during some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The pool not being heated was a concern we had as as much as me and my kids like to swim and play in the pool, it was perfectly temperature. 24-27 degree in the pool this early in the season was perfect and my concerns were lifted. The property is large and the garden is beautiful. The mountain behind the villa is perfect for those who like hiking in the mountains, we had some great walks on these many roads that cross through these mountains. The area nearby has got some great history and many great attractions are just a small drive away. One of the best things about the north part of Cyprus is that you will have these historical attractions for yourself. Buffavento Castle was the attraction that gave the biggest impressions with its short drive west from Five finger mountain and the walk from the car park and up took us roughly 30 min. Buffavento Castle has a fantastic view 360 degree, sitting on the top of the mountain we had the entire place for our self, not a single person did we meet. This made us able to really enjoy the beautiful scenery. Girne harbor is also a place we visited several times, a beautiful castle in the city center, a fantastic harbor with it`s small restaurants and many different shops up and down the small alleys. We used the Carrington group for car rental and airport transfer and were very pleased with their service. The rental car was delivered only minutes after we arrived. If your are reading this review now and found some free weeks in it`s rental period: Stop looking and book it. We will be back at this villa, no doubt about it.

“Perfect in every way” We went to Esentepe to try and sell a piece of land my father bought in 1970 so staying at Guzel Manzara was a great base. We had a very warm welcome from Mike and Lyn who look after the property. The villa was clean, spacious with a wonderful pool where you had sun all day and wonderful sunsets. You do need a car in Northern Cyprus and Phil the owner organised the taxi from the airport and our car hire was waiting at the villa on our arrival. You can not walk into the village from the villa ( a big hill to climb) but a few minutes in the car and you have plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Esentepe has changed a lot since 1970 but still holds a lot of charm and is unspoilt. The back road over the mountains is a must to Famagusta. Kyrenia harbour and Bellapais are a good day trip out if you can drag your self from the pool!

“Sunshine and tranquillity” A fantastic, quality villa in a ideal location. An opportunity to experience a peaceful time around the pool, chill on many of the available terraces or explore the area, historical abbey, ruins that will take you back in history, great local restaurants, great local harbour, and great local beach clubs. "something for everyone, children, teenagers and parents" From the moment of booking the holiday, Tina and Peter have been very helpful in arranging all elements of the holiday, flights, car hire etc. The villa was spotless and very well equipped! Detail such as plastic covered simplified maps to help you to get to all the locations. If flying in via Larnca I would highly reccomend the transfer service with local car hire delivery to the villa, made life so easy. The villa is very spacious, with the chance for anyone to have a private moment and not feel on top of each other. I definitely want to go back again!
