The Maison de la Paix and surroundings are amazing! Comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located within the centrally located village of Issigeac.

A Dordogne dream
This home was everything we could have wished for in a Dordogne home experience. Beautiful medieval home but with modern amenities. The place was very spacious with three bedrooms but there were only two of us! So plenty of room to spread out. The master bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms! The kitchen was large and easy to use. WE cooked several of our own meals. The beautiful old dining room table was a great place for an elegant meal. And we sipped wine many evening on the outside veranda. We loved Issigeac. It was a small medieval village with fabulous restaurants walking distance. Plus bakeries, grocery stores, etc. Our hosts were fabulous too. We can't wait to go back and stay for a month! …
Bracket - side village
Very pleasant Gite in the centre of a beautiful Medieval village very close to bars and restaurants.
A very pleasant, beautifully decorated two bedroom 2 bathroon gite with a well equiped kitchen. There are bars and recommended restaurants within a short walking distance and a market that winds it's way through the very picturesque village on a Sunday morning. Good base to explore the surrounding countryside - we visited Sarlat, St Emillion, Bergerac, the caves at Lascaux and a day in Bordeaux .
Hadrien and Anais stay nearby and were very welcoming hosts- any problem was sorted out right away. Would definitely recommend! …
