“A very pleasant place to stay” This is a very nice, comfortable place to stay. The garden area is large and with the variety of equipment provided by the owners offers an excellent facility for children; the swimming pool too was very popular with our young (3 years and 19 months) grandchildren - not to mention the adults! There are extensive views east over Trapezaki Bay (and beach) and to Mount Ainos but the property is fairly remote so a hire car should be considered essential. Whilst one may reach the property by taxi from the airport (around Euro 25 - 30) and the walk to the (small) local beach is hardly a "route march", even the nearest (small, relatively expensive) supermarket is quite a distance away and so walking to it (or worse, back from it whilst carrying provisions) in the sort of temperatures we go to this destination to experience, is not recommended! There are a few "larger" supermarkets (remember the size of Kefalonia) but none is within walking distance. The owners were very obliging and helpful even purchasing, at short notice, an item required for the younger child. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children and found the accommodation perfectly adequate and most comfortable; thank you Sharon and Leigh.
