Perfect Family Villa

Beautiful villa situated on the Bosnian/Croatian border. During our stay we had very little problem crossing the border with our maximum wait mid after noon being 35 minutes but generally we came straight through. Cost of living on the Bosnian side was incredibly cheap and special mention has to go to the local restaurant in the village where the food was plentiful and well cooked - dinner and a drink for a family of four 21 Euro's! The coastline of Croatia is beautiful and has to be visited. Dubrovnik also beautiful but very crowded and touristy - we actually preferred the smaller villages. Kotor also worth a visit. The villa is faultless - every facility that you could need and spotlessly clean - so much space and the pool was beautiful with a stunning view over the bay. We didn't want to leave! … see more

Luxury Villa Lule with private pool near Dubrovnik
WOW!! What a superb holiday villa!

Villa Lule is almost at the top of a hill over which the Croatia/Bosnia & Herzogovina border seems to wander around a bit - you never quite know, as you drive up the rough track towards the villa, which country you're in, but the villa is definitely in Bosnia! The drive up the hill takes you past other Boz Holidays villas and apartments, all looking pristine and very well looked after; you will also pass a number of unfinished buildings, mostly just shells, on some of which work continues in the off-season, but never when there are guests in any of the villas etc. Some of the unfinished buildings are quite close to Villa Luie, but we (my wife and I, accompanied by one of our oldest friends) all found that having been inside the villa and its totally-private enclosed pool area for only a very short time, we completely forgot about the other buildings in the vicinity - they became irrelevant to our enjoyment of our own villa and its facilities. Villa Lule was first occupied in mid-2014, and it was clearly built and finished to the highest possible standards. All of its fixtures, fittings, furniture and equipment, too, are the very best quality - including the Ikea mugs and the Tesco kitchen knife set! We decided to make full use of the villa and its facilities on alternate days of our holiday, getting out and about in the car we hired with the villa on the other days. We visited Trebinje in Bosnia, Kotor in Montenegro,and Dubrovnik and Slano in Croatia, among other places, as well as the War Museum beside the Mount Srd cable car terminal. which showed not only how the area was pounded and pulverised during the war, but how well places like Dubrovnik and Slano, in particular, have been restored to their present pristine condition. But it is worth remembering that unlike those two places, the area around Ivanica, where Villa Lule and other Boz Holidays properties are situated, has received very little in the way of UN and other aid and cash injection so is having to build itself up by its own efforts - which partly explains some of the unfinished development round and about. Do not, however, let the area's past or its part-finished present put you off. Villa Lule and its sister properties are havens of luxury to which we were always eager to return after a trip out. The property management team were all extremely friendly and efficient, and their manager Milli seems to lead them effortlessly and gets upset when her guests have anything less than a completely perfect experience. For instance we had an issue one day with the water supply, but we were out for most of that day, and when we got back we found three men working feverishly to change a system component and Milli close to tears because we were back before it was completed and would thus be slightly inconvenienced! Milli's help with booking our Three Islands boat trip and driving us to and from the boat were also very much appreciated. Villa Lule is a fully finished luxury villa in a partly finished luxury holiday location. The area needs more tourism, and if more and more ordinary people like us go there, love it as much as we did, and recommend it to others as I am now doing, it is to be hoped that Villa Lule and its surroundings will go on being enjoyed for a very long time. … see more
Luxury Villa Stone with private pool+Jacuzzi near Dubrovnik
An unforgetable holiday

My boyfriend and I spent a week in Villa Stone and we couldn't have asked for anything more! The views from the villa were breathtaking and the villa was stylish and a wonderfully cool relief from the high temperatures. The location was perfect! It provided us with the ability to discover both Croatia and Bosnia. After exploring the adventures of the city we could come home to the silence of the mountain and enjoy the stunning views. You could not find a better way to end your evening than by having a glass of the wine on the terrace, looking out across Croatia and watching the sun set behind the mountains. The villa provided us with everything we could have wanted, including great kitchen facilities, a BBQ and car rental. Mili and her team provided anything and everything we could have wanted as well as suggesting beautiful restaurants like Vukoje, (somewhere I would definitely recommend) and they made us feel at home and at ease - just one more reason to go back! Dubrovnik is a only a short car journey and definitely worth a visit, even if it is just to walk around the old city walls. Other places we visited and definitely worth exploring were Cavtat and Trebinja - both completely different but equally as special. I wish we could have stayed for longer - thank you. … see more

Fabulous

The villa was beautiful and the views absolutely stunning. The villa was perfect for us - 2 couples and a small child - both bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of room. The wifi was intermittent but I think that was more to do with the country rather than the villa! The only downside was having to take our passports with us every time we went out as we would always be passing through a country check point, but we got used to it. Also make sure you take the driving licence of the driver with you or you could be turned back to get it. Milli was very helpful and friendly without 'being in our faces'! You must visit Cavtat - lovely restaurants with stunning sunsets. We have already recommended Boz Holidays to friends who have also had a great holiday. … see more
