“Great Place” We loved this place and would love to stay again. We stayed for two weeks! The location was great. Not too touristy. Great location right on the beach. Plus they had all of the beach accessories that we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkels, and boogie boards and a surf board. The house was incredibly clean and up to date, just wish there was a second full bath. Awesome kitchen as well. Cant wait to get back. Thanks Ryan!

“Exceptional home away from home!” Just as described, the kihei oasis is an excellent vacation rental. The layout of the home, furnitionings and it's convenient surroundings, I would definitely recommend staying here. The jacuzzi was a hit, but the real bonus was the little amenities that you don't really think of until you need it. I opened the kitchen cabinets and found foil, oil, shoyu sauce and lots of helpful seasonings. The bathroom cabinets also had additional body wash, shampoo, lotion and for kids too. Although we brought our own amenities, I'm glad you have them available especially for large families. Also a garage wall dedicated to fun in the sun activities, boardgames and so much more. Mahalo to the Morts ohana for providing such a lovely home away from home, We definitely enjoyed ourselves!

“Perfect Location for a Perfect Kahului Vacation” My husband and I loved this large beautiful roomy condo at the Whalers in Maui. The wonderful fact that it is on the ground floor (no elevators wait time) and entrances from both the front door and direct lanai access to beach was such an added plus. We were literally 30 steps from the ocean yet it is quiet and feels very private. The well-stocked kitchen provided everything (except for the food and wine) for our sunset cocktails and steak dinners on the waterfront. Passers-by were envious of our perfect unobstructed ocean view. This is an ideal spot for a romantic get-away, close to everything we love about Maui.

“Outstanding Home, Would Stay Here again” This rental is better than described. The pictures don't do it justice. Our stay was comfortable and fantastic!!! The view was gorgeous! The house is clean, well equipped with all the comforts home. Michele and Ron have thought of everything! The house is walking distance to the beach and an easy drive to other local beaches, dining, local shopping and more.

“25th anniversary in Maui” Honokowai Palms is just what we needed for our 25th anniversary. Comfortable, convenient, full of amenities, and clean. The information provided was a tremendous help to make our stay both enjoyable and also more affordable. We loved staying in a condo that had it all from appliances to beach gear. The location was just right...next to a wonderful farmers market and coffee shop. 5 minutes from awesome shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The park right across the street is perfect for families to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, viewing turtles or just relaxing on the beach or in the grass. There are plenty of places within walking distance for meals, spa treatments or shopping. What ever your schedule might be, there are suggestions for the best places to go across the island. The books on Maui really helped find hiking spots and sight seeing locations. The condo is right in between to big resort locations, but feels like your home town with where its situated. One of the best beaches that is a cove is right up the road north in Napili for board activities, family outings and even has 2 restaurants. The owners of the condo thought of everything to make the best of your time on the island without breaking the bank. My wife and I couldn't have had a better time even in the big resorts because we were in charge and our parking spot was right in front of the door. Remeber to take time to just relax and lay on the beach, coffee in the morning and/or drinks in the afternoon were awesome on the beach right in the park 100yds from the condo. Don't pass up the volcano, Whaler's village (good shopping, beach area and eateries on the beach with live music), Front Street in Lahaina and Honolua Bay. Parking is the only challenge around the island, look for blue beach access signs, the open areas on the side of the roads, or just ask the locals and condo owners. The only way you can't have a good time is if you turn on the TV and sit on the couch all day! Enjoy Maui!

“Best Vacation Ever” This was an amazing vacation from the very start. Even before we left I was able to speak with Ning about the home and the area. She had some great suggestions about different activities and restaurants. The home was fantastic. It was way more room than we needed with 5 bedrooms, a large kitchen and spacious living room. The highlight of the home for us was the wrap-around lanai. I was nice to just sit outside and relax in the bright sun and refreshing trade winds. The amenities in the home were also outstanding. “Our Maui stay” The condo had all the comforts of home. The location was great, close to some stores and shopping. It was also close to where our son's wedding was and to everything we wanted to see and do. People at the condo guests and neighbors were all very friendly. “I will be coming back again!!” This is a great house for a family or romantic getaway. It is clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities of home. After a long day of activities it was nice to just sit on the lanai and relax while the children were playing in the game room. It was perfect for our family. I highly recommend this property. “Clean, affordable lodging on the Big Island” We stayed in the studio yurt at Hawaiian Journeys for a week in between stays on other islands. The managers were very easy to deal with, informative, and helpful. The yurt was new, clean and well appointed for a studio. The one drawback was the incinerating toilet, which did provide a burning odor if the wind blew the right? direction. The seperate toilet/shower building for the 1 BR and 2BR would probably be better. The location is ideal if you are traveling to both sides of the island for activities and sight seeing. If you prefer to stay in one spot, it is a bit isolated, but very peaceful. The price was definitely right too!

“Great Accommodations.” Our family had a great time staying in the very well equipped condo. The amenities are top notch and new. The place has been recently renovated and is very comfortable with each room being air conditioned. The Murphy bed in the living area was awesome when compared to a pull-out couch. “Beautiful Maui "Hideaway"” This "hideaway" lived up to all of my expectations. It was clean, comfy, had all of the amenities to make for a perfect escape from the Portland weather! It was just a 5 minute walk to the Maalea Harbor with many fun shops and delicious restaurants. It also had it's own little private beach just a few steps from the condo, and sat on a beautiful property. The owner was most helpful in answering all of my questions and the pictures show it exactly as it was. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a perfect location to enjoy the island of Maui.

“Hanalei Gem!” My family spent five delightful days at this property, renting both Plumeria and Hibiscus. We had such a wonderful time there and could see the house has had a lot of love and good times over the years. It has a really nice vibe! So glad to be able to experience that too. The house came equipped with everything you could imagine...we had all that we needed and then some. The owner and local contact people were very responsive...no complaints. The location was also ideal, just a short walk to the beach and pier. We appreciated being on a quiet residential street in the middle of a tropical jungle! Also we had mostly good weather and were able to do many fun things with our family.

“Fantastic trip to Maui and stay at Maui Kai” My husband and I were looking for both a fun and relaxing trip to Hawaii. Staying at the Maui Kai was truly fantastic, a great home base for our vacation!! We loved the fact that it was right on the beach, and we could go for jogs or walks along it anytime we wanted to. There was also a boardwalk a few steps from the condo building where we could walk/jog for what seemed like forever - just fantastic!! We were able to walk all the way into Whaler's Village and beyond on it. We found a Starbucks right on the beach and chilled out for several hours watching the surf and breathing the ocean air. We rented a car while there which gave us maximum freedom to get around. There is a great little shopping plaza right down the lane from the condo which allowed us to get a some groceries and other things we needed, as well as having a few restaurants close-by. We were able to make healthy meals at home, and use the Bbqs as well, or we could go out to eat as well. We really liked the variety and options. The condo building was immaculate, and very well maintained, although it is an older building, it was well very well taken care of. We were able to watch the sun set at night on the beautiful lanai, which was dreamy. Although we didn't stay in unit #806 as they didn't have full availability while we were there, Art & Sophie Nickel took care of us and ensured we were set-up in another room for our stay. All I can say was that it was a true pleasure dealing with art, he called us directly to prepare our reservation,gave us lots of great info, answered all of our questions and ensured we got a great unit on one of the top floors. We highly recommend the Maui Kai - it was just perfect all around, and we will be going back for sure!!!

“Centrally located condo with incredible viewand easy access to b” This is a beautful condo that has a great view of the beach and ocean from the sliding glass living room door. You can hear the waves of the ocean from the bedroom which is really relaxing to go to sleep and wake up to. The condo is in walking distance from the harbor that includes shops, restaurants, bars, and an aqauriaum. You can also walk along the beach anywhere right outside of the condo. On top of that, it is centrally located to major towns on the island and it's an easy drive in any direction to them. The condo itself is very clean and modern.

“Fantastic comfortable base to explore wonderful Maui” I can't say enough good things about this lovely condo! - Linda the owner was so helpful throughout the booking process and our stay and returned our security deposit really quickly! she sent us loads of really useful info. which helped us 1st timers to Maui. To say we loved it is an understatement, the condo is just as described/pictured, its huge!! and is a few minutes across the road from the lovely Kamaole Beach Park. You have everything you need here for a fantastic holiday, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers the lot. The pool at the condo is clean and well maintained and on the days we used it we had it mostly to ourselves, The rooftop terrace and BBQ area is brilliant, but we only used it once as there are more than enough restaurants within walking distance of the KBR to keep you busy for a few weeks, sadly we only had 9 days (loads of shops too) Will definitely return here, its a fantastic base to explore Maui as you are in the middle of the island. We went to a few other resorts on our travels, but definitely made the right decision to stay here. I would recommend to anyone especially families or small groups as its a great size. Thanks again Linda for an amazing stay in Maui.
