“perfect getaway” We had a wonderful time at casa Mendes. We wanted a quiet holiday where we could relax and we certainly did that. The villa is five star luxury. The clean pool was enjoyed by all especially my two daughters. Even the one year old was paddling at the more shallow end. We enjoyed lots of al fresco dining using the superb bbq areas and there was plenty of shade at all times. The resort is immaculate and my husband particularly enjoyed the golf. The villa is extremely well equipped and we found everything that we could want. We cannot rate Lionel highly enough for the help he gave us both before and after our holiday. We will recommend Casa Mendes to everyone.

“Amatista 22” Wow, the villa is huge and is beautifully furnished. Fantastic location just metres away from the clubhouse, which serve delicious food, and the on-site supermarket. The pool is large and great for playing ball games or just floating around taking in the rays. We enjoyed playing table tennis, having barbecues, sitting in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit in the evenings. Fantastic time had by all, would definitely visit again.

A very pleasant stay

Our stay was originally booked for Aug 2021 but due to covid restrictions we couldn’t go. Due to a large price increase for rebooking to go same time in 2022 we had to move it to out of season. Communications with York and Joy were excellent and they both went out of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one. The villa itself is lovely and modern and great for families with all facilities that you need. The beds are so comfortable!! A great bonus was beach/pool towels available, so not having to bring them taking up half your baggage allowance . As we were delayed arriving, York arranged for some essentials so that we could eat and it was more than enough and well needed after a long day. The weather was good to us but the pool was too cold to go in with it being April, which was our only downside of our stay. Luxury 3 Bedroom Villa + Private Pool and Garden
A very family friendly getaway

We rented both the Villa and Townhouse in early October 2022. Four adults and a seven year old staying at the Villa and Two adults and two teenagers stayed at the Townhouse. It worked out extremely well. The Villa is extremely spacious and main meals were cooked at the Villa and all nine guests making use of the swimming pool. Our time was split between staying at the Villa and day trips to Mercia, Cartagena and the Beach, even in October the water was warm and inviting. Luxury 5 star villa in El Valle

The villa is beautiful inside and out and provides 5 star luxury. We have stayed at this villa many times as love its location on the 18th hole and close proximity to the grocery shop and club house. Since our last stay, the villa has been upgraded with new contemporary outdoor furniture and new indoor sofas which are fabulous. We enjoyed outside dining with the new upgraded BBQ. The golf course is immaculate, offering challenging golf with beautiful views. There are many wonderful places to explore within 15-20 minutes drive. Fabulous villa in the perfect El Valle resort.

My husband & I felt fortunate to stay in this stunning 5 * villa. The villa is fabulously furnished and decorated throughout. The owners have made sure that everything that you could possibly need was there at Casa Catherina Joan. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens the villa is quiet & peaceful. The property's own pool was great to cool down in after enjoying the wonderful Spanish sunshine. There are plush different seating areas outside. One area with table chairs and bbq..perfect for warm evenings if you are staying in. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you require, even it's own ice making facilities. There is a supermarket on site that is very well stocked. The golf club house on site serves beautifully prepared food and drinks. The local towns are a short drive away & offer fantastic restaurants with varied international cuisine. There are lovely beaches around the coast too. We enjoyed exploring new places and were never disattisfied with service. We got a train to Murcia, travelled to Cartagena for an afternoon, all within easy reach. We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Catherina Joan and we have already booked for next year...Looking forward to discovering more and also spending relaxing days by the pool in total tranquility in 2019. We found it comfortable, safe, quite and relaxing.

The villa was very clean and well looked after in a quiet road on a nice estate. We found the aspect pleasant and the golf resort as a location fine for our needs. The house and outside space was ideal for my disabled fellow travellers, who are unsteady when walking about. The house is nicely decorated and very well equipped. Our only negative was a lack of outside cushions for the sun beds, and had there been 6 instead of 3 of us, a lack of beds per se. It was an ideal spot for us. We had a car and went out for half days. If you didn't and were happy to stay on the resort the club house is nice - inexpensive with friendly staff and the shop is well equipped and also inexpensive given its captive audience. … see more
