“Wonderful location” We were three adults enjoying a short break in the Dingle Peninsula. Brandon Mountain Cottage was very comfortable and spotless throughout. Great attention to detail here. The kitchen was well fitted out and lots of throws and rugs ensured we were comfy on chilly evenings. The views from the house of Brandon Bay and the mountains beyond were spectacular. A lovely walk to the beach as well as a vigorous climb to the summit of nearby Mount Brandon, added to the joy of our stay. Linda was very helpful and made us feel very much at home.

“Super house, fantastic location” A group of 6 adults stayed here for the long weekend. House was superb, clean, well furnished, comfortable beds and in a great location. Don't miss staying in this gem of a house. Location was great. Beach a 5 min walk and 2 local pubs 2km. We will definitely go back.

“Beautiful in Spring” We visited Kerry in May 2010 and stayed in Scorid Cottage. What a beautiful location right at the foot of Connor Pass with mountains all around and beautiful views of the sea. The house itself is bright and spacious and extremely well maintained by its friendly and helpful owners Veronica & Michael. It is located near to a picturesque mountain stream and in May the fields around Scorid Cottage were filled with newly born lambs playing happily. We found that it was the perfect location for touring West Kerry. It is only a thirty minutes drive from the larger town of Tralee and that was also a wonderful place to visit. We had a great holiday and we will always remember, the relaxing walks, the scenery, but especially all the new friends that we made.

“Location location location!!!” We wrote a review to the Irish Times earlier this year about Ballyferriter and its beautiful context. We have spent many summers there and will continue to do so with our evolving family. We made no mention of Le Cheile in the article ; This was premeditated as we are already well aware of the growing interest in this charming home..call it a 'Protection of therapeutic asset':) The house is brilliantly located at 200metres from an Beal Ban. No man made structures upset seascape views from the house, just an occasional herd of disinterested cattle. The village of Ballyferriter can be accessed via the beach so convenient for late evening jaunts to the local pubs. But a moonlit walk in this environment is intoxicating in itself. The house is well appointed with a useful quirk in an upstairs lounge. The lounge is well equipped with Dvd's/ videos -a brilliant rain card for the kids. It also allows us adults those rare moments of quiet romance at dinner downstairs. And where on this island can you ogle three beautiful sisters in the company of one's wife?...You can from the bedroom at Le Cheile! The owners have not rested on their laurels; I note year on year improvements to the property...the kitchen was painted this year...a new flat screen TV with Saor View -small things but noted and appreciated all the same. We heartily recommend Le Cheile. It is a special house in a special area.
