“Peaceful and comfortable but...........” Cottage set at the end of a single track road. Despite the proximity of the railway (which did not intrude) the cottage was very quiet and peaceful . Reasonably well equipped it was a comfortable cottage with decent size bedrooms and bathroom. WiFi was not encrypted, which was not clever and TV was on the small side for modern tastes. Three were a number of minor maintenance niggles with the plumbing but nothing that caused too much inconvenience.

“Lovely cottage” We had a great stay in the railway cottage. Making the arrangements for the arrival were easy and the owners gave us a warm welcome including delicious fresh Welsh cakes. The cottage was well equipped with nice and comfortable furniture. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The garden behind the cottage was a great plus which we enjoyed using. The cottage is well located for public transport to Cardiff and hiking around the general area including the nearby lovely mountain Garth. There are also several nice pubs, restaurants and a park within a short walking distance.

“A weekend at Hafod Lodge.” This is a really lovely property, perfect for a family house party weekend if your own home isn't big enough for 15 -20 guests. As it is very homely with an attractive kitchen and appliances it is easy to host as if you were at home. Everything was well presented inside, the grounds are pretty, though the pool is unheated so a no go really with our weather! The rental part was also smooth and easy.
