“Lovely, well managed chalet in great location.” We had a great week in the chalet, the chalet was well looked after by the management company who were very quick to help out when we needed anything. The wifi and sauna was a bonus.
It is worth mentioning that the chalet is not on a road so you have to carry your luggage 20 metres or so which is a little tricky if there is a lot of snow but not a huge problem unless someone in your group has any mobility issues or you have very young children.
One of the upstairs bedrooms is very spacious and we were able to move one of the beds from another room into that one to create a family room. The other upstairs bedroom is on the landing with no door between the downstairs and is also a walk through to the master bedroom so not all that private or quiet. This again was spacious.
The third bedroom downstairs had the only double bed but was a smaller room.
My parents found the beds hard and the matresses thin, however the younger smaller members of the party did not experience this ;)
The kitchen area is small but we managed to cook some simple meals on the little hob, there is a toaster, kettle, decent sized fridge and freezer compartment and a limited selection of cooking utensils and we managed to get by with these.
Location wise you are a short walk down the hill away from the gondola and off a side road. The walk in fairly flat at the bottom of the slopes and very peaceful away from the main bars but with the benefit of having bars and supermarkets within a minutes walk.
We can recommend Sunny's bar and the Happy Duck which are both very close and Mamacianas mexican for some great lunch deals.
We had a really great week here - thanks!
“High quality all round accomodation for large fanilies & groups” Chalet Sinchets in the Chamkoria complex is an ideal location if you want high quality accommodation in peaceful surroundings away from the hustle & bustle of the main resort. We had 6 adults & 3 children in our party and had plenty of room throughout the chalet. The daily transfers were excellent & drop you off at your ski station. They are available every 15mins from 7.30am to until 7.30pm, enabling a trip to the resort at night for those who want a livelier experience. A £10 taxi for the return journey after this time, got us back safely. We found the quality & price of Bulgarian food inconsistent in the resort, so take recommendations from others. However, the Chamkoria complex restaurant & bar was some of the best food we had, and reasonably priced. If you want to eat in, the chalet is well equipped with everything you'll need to cook a full meal and a table that seats 8 easily. You'll need to get supplies from the resort or local town of Samokov, as the complex mini market is quite limited. The taxi cost £20 for the return journey to Samokov, and you easily save that money compared to the resort prices. Also consider a Bulgarian night in Samokov. We had a brilliant time and it's as cheap as chips. £20 per head for 5 courses, unlimited local alcohol & a return taxi to the complex. We made good use of the pool & spa facilities, & the massages are a bargain compared to UK. The only let down was the hot tub was not working throughout our weeks stay.
The complex staff, although didn't speak very good English, understood us ok and were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They even put up a real Christmas tree with decoration in the chalet, which the children loved. Overall excellent.
“lovely place to stay in Bansko” I recommend Library 1 to anyone going to Bansko on a ski holyday or any other time of the year with their friends or family.
The House is new outside and inside, in a central but quiet location.
We go to Bansko often, and I can say that this type of accommodation was more appropriate for us than to stay in a hotel. We had the liberty to stay late in bad and have a breakfast of our own choosing, same for supper. If you stay at a hotel in Bansko, you wouldn’t want to go outside, since the concept of spa tourism there is developed to keep the guest in the hotel. Than you miss the beautiful town of Bansko and the great restaurants that offer simply the greatest dishes. Not to mention the difference in the price you pay.
Since the house is very spacious the kids had great time running around in the living area, or playing in the bedroom on the top floor.
The fireplace was great, we’ve found a local seller of wood and used it for four days.
And the communication with the owner was also something
We had some problems making the payment since Paypall does not offer services for Macedonia, but he was very patient and helpful in everyway.
“Great chalets for a bargain price” We spent with friends one week in these chalets that sommer.Accomodation was superb.
Chalets were well equipped and really roomy. That was enaugh space for us all (8 people).
We had wonderful time hiking in Pirin mountains, also Bansko was very interesting city with many restaurants and pubs.Owner was very helpful and gave us all important information about town and made our stay very enjoyable.I could recommend that chalets to everyone who want to spend holiday in Bansko.
“Great place to stay in Bansko” We have sayed in this appartment in January 2012. Everything was inside as advertised. The contact with the owner was without any issues and very pleasant. We also used the transport recommended by the owner wich was a great choice. The driver was on time and the whole journey to Bansko from Sofia was also very pleasant and enjoyable.
There was a 10 min stroll to the gondola station from the appartment with lots of shops, bars, restaurants on the way.
