“Cottage with character in a tranquil setting.” We stayed for a week in this lovely and very peaceful rural setting. I am sure that if the weather had been nicer we wouldnt have moved too far and would have enjoyed the on site pool too as the location was very relaxing. Evenso we had a lovely stay in this converted cottage and were helped by the owner to choose god places to visit, eat and shop. This is a beautiful part of France and the cottage had all amenities necessary.
“A peaceful retreat.” What a wonderful relaxing place. It had plenty of room for the three of us and was full of character. Plenty for children to do. Badminton, swimming and table tennis plus the swings. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. They had lots of knowledge of the area and what to do during our stay. I couldn't believe how peaceful it was there. We bought supplies with us but everything we needed was there when we arrived.
“Fantastic apartment, fantastic location, fantastic host” We stayed in this fabulous apartment for 2 weeks in July and could not have been more pleased with our selection. Olivier was very welcoming and explained everything about the apartment. It is superbly appointed with items such as a Nespresso coffee maker, a good quality hairdryer and fans in all the rooms - all very much appreciated. The furnishings are also of a good standard and the apartment has a luxury feel to it. The car parking just one door away under the apartment was also a fantastic bonus.
The apartment location is great - right next to the old centre - so close to hundred of places to eat and drink but without being on a busy road where you would get any noise from this. It's also close to the waterfront, the attractions of Bordeaux and also the excellent tram service for getting to places slightly further afield.
We had a fantastic holiday and really couldn't fault anything. When we had any problems (such as a car parked illegally blocking our access to the garage), Olivier was available to assist and resolve quickly - great as our French is not that good and we would probably not have been able to resolve without his help - such a great host and lovely man!
We would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend this as an ideal base for any visits/holidays in Bordeaux.
“awesome house, awesome location, awesome host, awesome wine” We loved this awesome old-stone townhouse that must be a century old. It's been brilliantly renovated with all modern comfort. Above all, we enjoyed the huge modern kitchen open to the living room with all the southern sun coming inside, opening to a large deck and a cute private yard with plenty of flowers and an olive tree. The house is very quiet at a walking distance from the historic center in Bordeaux and Patrick is "formidable", very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our trip sooo much!
