“Lovely comfortable villa” I stayed here for a long weekend with a few friends in Feb'17. The villa is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location is good with only a 20 minute drive into Bordeaux. Gladys was very friendly and was happy to split the double beds into twin beds to accommodate us. The garden and pool area is lovely and I'm sure it will be great in the spring and summer. If taking taxis into Bordeaux be aware that they can be quite expensive, approx Euro 50-60.
“Little Gem in the Bordeaux Countryside” We recently stayed in this gite for a week and found it ideal for our purposes. The location is excellent-in the countryside but only a short drive from Bordeaux. The property itself is spacious-ideal for a small family and there is plenty of outdoor green space. It is immaculately kept and the facilities are more than adequate. The village of Lignan is a three minute drive, with a nice bistro for relaxation. There is a fantastic boulangerie at the main junction (Fagues St Hilaire) where you can get freshly made bread for every meal if you so wish. The supermarket is also just a ten minute drive away. For those interested in wine, the location is in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Meres wine area, with four a five chateaux within a few miles, with dozens more within a 20 mile radius. The owners (Irene and William) live on the first floor-they are very attentive to your needs and very nice people. It suited our purposes perfectly, represented great value for money and we will definite go back to stay there when we return to Bordeaux

Fabulous accommodation and location
We had a lovely holiday at Petit Bourriche, the accomadation was good and the location was stunning. The dogs enjoyed the large garden and we appreciated the use of the swimming pool during the hot weather over the past 10 days.
There is no Wi Fi at the property which was a little inconvenient, perhaps this is something that could be considered in the future, but never the less we had a great stay and a wounderful holiday. …
Roof Top in Bordeaux
Aleks and Martin were fanatastic hosts. Aleks picked us up from the airport which meant we started our holiday earlier. Apartment was great. Really safe and clean. Great supermarket and tram stop 5 minutes down the road. Bordeaux is magical. Like a chilled out Paris. We would definitely go back …

Moulin Neuffons near Monsegur, Gironde France
A tranquil hideaway not far from a bustling town
A beautiful old mill complete with mill-race, mill ponds, and weir. Located a few kilometres from the busy little town of Monsegur and the shops in larger La Reole.
It's a large, airy building with big rooms and high ceilings, all the bedrooms being en-suite. There are numerous areas to sit outside, providing perfect sun bathing or shade as one chooses. There are kayaks and small boats with the necessary life jackets and a plunge pool for cooling off making the whole place an ideal family venue. The owner, Victoria could not be more welcoming and helpful - we loved the fruit and vegetables that she gave us from her garden. There are plenty summertime day and night markets in the local area with night market at Duras being especially lively. Local vineyards and the Minsegur wine cooperative are excellent visits for wine lovers in this area where wines of all types can be found in abundance. Bordeaux, Bergerac and St Emilion are all within an easy days visit. As a family all of whom are adults we had a marvellous holiday with plenty to do and see but with space available to be separate if we wanted. We would definitely return. …
