Apartments in Boavista and Villas - Holiday Lettings - Holiday Rentals Boavista
Booked apartment quite late but it was available for our dates in late August/early September, we spent 11 nights here. The apartment was well furnished with two lovely bedrooms and a great living area as well as the outside space which we enjoyed breakfast on every day and lunch a number of times. The proximity to the clubhouse was a real bonus as well. Played golf on Boavista whilst here and it is an excellent course. Eat and drank in clubhouse and I cannot recommend it too much, great food and excellent service. Swimming pool busy first week with a number of kids but it was school holidays, certainly quieter second week. One small disappointment was that the satellite tv had no English channels, some US channels though. Lagos is a great town with dozens of great places to eat at night …

Villa 2, Fairviews Village
Wonderful holiday which all of my family enjoyed, including my 2 year old grandson.
I have played golf at the Boavista complex many times over the years but this is the first time I have stayed in a villa within the complex and myself and my family really enjoyed our stay in the villa.
The villa was very spacious and in superb condition with 2 en suite bathrooms and a separate toilet/shower room on the ground floor which was ideal for 5 adults and a 2 year old.
The villa is perfectly located to use the facilities in the clubhouse/leisure center and has a magnificent outlook over the 1st tea of the golf course and is 2 minutes from the play park/tennis courts. …
Lagos apartments Lakeview
Fabulous, Everything you need.
This is a great apartment on a well managed golf course (you don't need to play golf). The communication with Claire, the owner, is excellent.
Two bedroom and two bathrooms with a full size double sofabed in the lounge. We, a family of 5 had plenty of space, and my son loved sleeping on the sofabed right in front of the TV with sky sports. The pool, just a few steps from the front door, is huge and there was plenty of sunbeds even in the school holidays. We have tended to book villas with private pools in the past but this was so much better and cheaper!
The apartment has a washing machine, so you can travel with just hand luggage, and a dishwasher. There is a small garden area to both the front and the rear and at the time we were there, there was a barbecue on the rear terrace.
We didn't hire a car. We have been to this area of Portugal several times and we now just book a transfer from the airport and then either bus or taxi around. The bus which travels down to Lagos or the other way to Praia da Luz, stops just outside the entrance to Boavista. The beaches of both Lagos and Praia da Luz are excellent and there are plenty of lovely places to eat at both resorts. Best to book in high season though.
It takes just over half hour to walk to the intermarche supermarket for shopping, you can catch the bus back. Alternatively, you can have a supermarket delivery from Baptista in Praia da Luz (supermacado-baptista.com). you can order online, the website is a little basic but it works. Just put in the notes section a little more description of what you want.
Whilst there is no internet connection at the apartment, there is up at the clubhouse and personally I find it refreshing that the kids aren't on their gadgets all day!
If you get chance travel out to Salema, a quiet seaside, great beach, lovely restaurants.
Would definitely look at booking again. …
