Fuseta 2 Bedroom Apartment with Sea View
We lovely the apartment, the area around is nice and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The flat its about 15mins walk to the centre and beach. From the photos we were expecting that the swimming pool is on the flat however it's in a leasure centre across the road which was fine for us. We had a great time, thank you Karen! : ) …
Fantastic apartment in Fuzeta
We were a party of 4 adults and and one child, mum, dad, daughter and grand parents. We stayed in apartment Limonera for a week but wish it was longer.
The apartment was luxurious and everything we needed for our stay in Fuzeta. The massive terrace was fantastic although we tended to only use it early evening after spending the day by the communal pool. The views from the pool area were fabulous looking out over the Tia Formosa towards the island beach.
Ten minutes saunter from the apartment takes you to the small supermarket and the railway station . The supermarket has everything we needed for our stay and the train from the railway station is handy for venturing a little way down the coast to Tavira which is a beautiful Portuguese town. In the other direction the train takes you to Olhao or further on to Faro.
2 minutes down the hill from the supermarket is the village square with several restaurants and best of all the bakery or "pasteleria" where they serve fantastic coffee and various cakes and ice cream. The pastel de nata (custard tarts) were a morning treat along with a coffee when I went for the morning rolls. The supermarket also sells rolls but the bakery is worth that little extra walk as the bread is better.
Other side of the square on the front and there are a strip of cafes bars and restaurants serving the best barbeque meats and fish. Bar marecia opened when we were there and worth a visit for the freshly cooked clams alone. Also the service is pretty good as Ricardo couldn't have been any more helpful. We also ate in Trevo which was good for barbeque fish but don't order the pizza as the waiter nips up to the supermarket to buy it. They then bang some extra topping on. La plage in the corner is also very good as Pointe grande which is a left turn at the supermarket over the bridge and great for "steak on a stone" honestly around 500 grammes of ribeye each. I could go on and on the 5 of us had a ball and apartment Limonera and Mars Algarve were a big part of this. …
Apartment Mar Vista
Great appartment everything you need for a great holiday. Roof terrace & hot tub is excellent. Swimming pool isn't the best for young children, not enough seating on the bottom level to accommodate everyone. Swimming pool very cold.
Overall an excellent appartment, but due to the pool, probably better for families with older children. We spent most of our days at the beaches which are brilliant. …
