“Excellent service and villa!” Villa is very spacious and completely new. You have everything you could need inside villa. And out you can enjoy a nice terrace. There is also a private parking for your rented car, just next to the villa. Wifi is not available inside villa. Sometimes you can get a free wifi 5meters from it. But I recommend you to buy a 3G plan with airtel. Location is great, since you are 5min to harbour and 5min to airport. In addition, owners are a very nice couple, always disposed to help you in what you need.

“Wonderful apartment, great host, we have nothing to complain about here!” My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment for six weeks in August/September and had a great time. The accommodation has a living room, bath room, bed room, bath room and a kitchen with a small table and chairs. It was very clean and tidy and also had a heater/aircon. The aprtment is located in a very nice and safe neighborgood and it was easy to feel safe and at home. It is some ways north from the center of cape town, which is not a problem, because it is close to the highway and you probably need to rent a car either way in order to discover everything around Cape Town. There are many wineyards nearby, as well as lots of possibilities for going shopping, Otto will help you find everything ;) We liked going for a surf at Bloubergstrand, which is about 30 minutes away and the Stellenbosch winefarms are not far away either. Since we worked at Tygerberg and Kuilsriver hospital, the location was perfect for us, because it was about 15 minutes to both hospitals. However, the highlight, I would say, was the host, Otto. Even before we arrived he helped us with renting a car, directions and we already had a good feeling about coming to his place. He welcomed us very friendly, had a lot of recommendations for us concerning what to to, where to go, and is a very nice guy to talk to. He is always there if you have questions or need help and he gave us the feeling that he was always glad to help. For example, we needed a land line for an inportant phone call and he was able to help us right away. Another time, the TV wouldn't turn on anymore. 5 Minutes later, we had a different TV for the time he needed to repair the old one. Otto always took care of all our problems right away and we were very glad and lucky to have such a great host. I would love to say a lot more about this place and Otto, but I am afraid, people will not read such a long recommendation ;) I hope, I made clear that I couldn't imagine a better place to stay, thanks so much Otto, for a wonderful stay in Cape town!

“Best wedding anniversary of our life” Thankyou so much for making our stay for our wedding anniversary party so enjoyable. My wife fell in love with those amazing colour changing lights above the dining table...which wasn't a squeeze for our 14 guests. The roaring log fire just completed our celebratory dinner and the chef you provided cooked an inspirational dinner. The mist rolling in over the vineyards truly completed the ambience. We will be back.

“Outstanding holiday” We spent Christmas and New Year's at Mountain View Villas. We had a fantastic time, in large part due to Shirley and Justin, our hosts. The arranged a rental car for us at a great price, gave us directions around the island, and had all of the guests over for Christmas dinner. The villas are extremely well-equipped and very comfortable. Kitchens have everything that you need - the big refrigerator is a bonus. Aircon, comfortables furnishings and plenty of hot water set the place off as the place to stay. A highly recommended holiday spot.

“Sa's Venice” Lazy Island is anybody's dream holiday location. Situated a few minutes over the gorgeous Thesen Causeway and within walking distance of the Knysna Waterfront, the Turbine Hotel (where you can see a bit of history, eat delicious food or enjoy the spa!), Thesen Island is in prime location to just about everything you would want to fulfil your holiday needs. Driftwood was simply a pleasure to stay in. From the beach-like decor, to the open shower, to the adorable fire place. The room was clean and fresh and anything we required either Corlia or Mark was happy to assist us with. Thesen Island itself was a safe place to stay in and we often saw children cycling around without a worry of them being in danger and the residents were friendly and welcoming. Lazy Island provided canoes in their own private jetty, available to paddle out onto the lagoon with and enjoy the sunset (or even follow the Thesen waters around to various restaurants!)- but if you'd prefer to take things slower, you could simply take a dip in the clear Thesen Island water- where tiny schools of fish can often be seen darting about! In short, Lazy Island is the best possible decision you could make for yourself, your partner or even your family's holiday desires without having to travel internationally. Everything you need is right in front of you... Ahhh.
