“Fantastic house, beautiful nature and amazing wildlife!” Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) spent 12 days in this villa. This holiday accommodation was more than perfect for our family holiday to Kruger National Park and the Blyde river canyon. Facilities were very luxury, immaculate, and just 45 minutes from the Orpen Gate. Our villa was surrounded by bushveld where we find giraffe, zebra, impala and warthog. An Kudu was sometimes drinking out of the pool, amazing! Because the villa is surrounded by bushveld you have a lot of privacy and enjoy nature up-close. The view from the villa on the Drakensbergen was fantastic especially by sunset! The activities in the direct area, like walking safari, night safari, game drives where very nice for kids, The favorite of our kids where the Horse Riding and a visit to Jessica the Hippo! Also the wild animals on the estate and the Kruger National Park were loved. The village of Hoedspruit was great, and offers a lot of facilities, 2 supermarkets, 2 gasstations, an shopping centre and many lovely restaurants, our favorite was Sleepers and Hat & Creek! Hat & Creek was also nice for the kids because of the playground. Hoedspruit village was only 3 min drive from the estate, friendly people in the area, safe and secure. The Host (Sue) were lovely and helped us if we had any kind of questions! The Family de Korte respond very quick to our questions, and the information guide is a great document which we received after our booking. We highly recommend this villa for a very special holiday, you won't easily forget!

“Significant improvements continue to be made by the new manageme” I stayed in the chalet for one month in 2013 after staying for one week in 2012. The owner continues to be accommodating and caring of his guests. I can say, unequivocally, that as I left in the middle of Oct 2013, there were no hygienic issues and I am confident that future guests will attest to that fact. The owner is providing a brand new set of Teflon-coated cooking pots & pans for those who prefer to self-cater. I used the $20/day all-inclusive feature provided by the resort because of its convenience and unbeatable value. The food provided was varied, plentiful, and is available 24 hours a day at different restaurants. The free morning transportation service provided by the resort to Ne3ma Bay is new this year and is very convenient for those who prefer to self-cater because they can go, as frequently as they wish, to pick up all the food they need, even on daily basis, from supermarkets. The time allotted is quite sufficient for shopping. I have found the resort management very responsive to any issues or problems encountered by guests once reported. I have had TV signal restored well into the night without having to wait until the next morning, or for business hours. Resort personnel are practically on call until midnight 7 days a week. This is something that one cannot find everywhere. The complete housekeeping service provided on daily basis by competent staff is a definite plus. The new resort management is making a significant effort to provide a needed facelift and appears to be succeeding. There is a new jetty added for snorkeling. It provides access to a much better section of the terrific resort reef. Changing kiosks and a toilet have been added on the beach, and so were sports facilities (volleyball,football) which add to the convenience of guests. It is true that Egypt is going through a very difficult period, but that is no reason for people to stay away from Sharm, which is very safe. I highly recommend the chalet and plan to go back in 2014.

“Fab house - best beach!!” We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed the house the view and the pool - heated warm and nice. The view is fanatstic and we took a walk to the beach and what a beach - beautiful but to be honest the water in the pool is nicer :) If you looking for a nice place to stay with everything you need and to have a fab time in Simons Town - this is the place! We will be back!

“Totally stress free break.” This was our first visit to Sharm so knew nothing about the area or the practicalities of self catering in a place where everyone seems to go all inclusive. We were met at the airport by armands (the property manager.) who immediately put us at ease by dealing with the taxi drivers and security on the complex.He let us into the apartment which was very modern and clean,there was water,milk,tea,coffee and fruit awaiting us. The apartment is very comfortable,mattresses especially,we all slept really well.It's in a great location, yards from the pool and 200 mtrs from the beach from which there is brilliant snorkelling,i was there most days swimming with rays,octopus and beautiful fish.It is also close to the supermarket and some great restaurants. We had 2 lovely meals at "Peking" (Chinese.) fantastic steaks at "Three Crowns" and our favourite was "Virus", not a great name for a restaurant i know but as good as any Indian we have tasted and we've tried a lot.There is also "KFC","Mcdonalds", "Burger King","TGI Fridays" and "Hard Rock Cafe" within 15 mins walk. We used the little blue buses to get around, they are really cheap and less haggling than the Taxis.£1 Egyptian pound (10p english) anywhere in Nabq and £3 Egyptian to Naama (30p english)though they may try and get more, just be firm.We also got the free bus to Soho Square one night which was great. To finish i must tell you about armands. He is a master of hospitality ! There when you want him and not when you don't.Nothing is to much trouble for him. Although it was late when we landed he walked to the supermarket with us and gave us a tour of the area.He organised the bus to Soho and got a very good exchange rate for us. He also gave us lots of advice on how much to pay for things and where to eat.He is an attribute to the whole experience of booking this apartment. I feel that we arrived as holidaymakers and left as friends. You can't not like him.

““Wonderful Holiday!!”” We spent 3 glorious weeks in Villa Pampas in October 2014. Paris met us on arrival, having organised a taxi to collect us from the airport. The villa was pure luxury and had everything we needed for our holiday to be a success. We dined out and catered for ourselves (well stocked supermarket close by), but the wonderful Dorine also cooked some of her very tasty creole dishes and brought us fresh mangos from her garden daily! We hired a car during our stay which Paris kindly arranged for us at a very reasonable rate and spent time exploring the island. The Mauritian people are very welcoming, kind and helpful. We were spoilt for choice with the beaches as they all had miles of lovely soft white sands and the most spectacular turquoise sea imaginable. We had only 1 regret and that was that the holiday had to come to an end. We would highly recommend this villa and we hope to return again in the future. “Awesome Location / House / Customer Service” From the moment of stepping into this well kept, clean and tidy and well decorated mansion (calling it a villa by European standards is laughable - Its massive) , we needed for nothing. Dennis greeted us with a cake his wife had baked, and handed over his contact details if we needed anything. Suffice to say he had thought of absolutely everything, and we never needed to call him, although he made sure to check in with us at various points. Tons of bedding, towels, and all the bits you expect from cutlery to pizza oven spades. The villa was serviced daily by two employees! He lives right next door (in the next house) and actively manages the property. The house was defnitely a home away from home, and we enjoyed using the pool, pizza oven and BBQ area. Not to mention the late night pool table sessions! We would happily go back (in a heartbeat) and recommend to anyone! Dennis also had arranged wine tours for the wine estate next door - a very nice touch!

“Hermanus cottage” Four of us had the most lovely stay at Quainton recently. It is well decorated, modern and super comfortable. Perfect for two couples. It is also really convenient - close to town and easy to get around. If you are thinking of visiting Hermanus, I highly recommend this guest cottage!

“Dreamy” Villa Turquoise is a stunning home approximately forty-five minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Stone Town. Situated on beautiful Matemwe Beach, it is a lofty Swahili Style Villa designed for comfort. Six of us stayed at the villa for ten days leading up to my wedding. Apart from getting married in Zanzibar, our stay at Villa Turquoise was the highlight of our trip. The villa is spacious, spotless and extremely well run. The staff and the chef were amazing. We opted to purchase our groceries and have the chef prepare our meals. He cooked delicious Swahili style cuisine using aromatic spice combinations that excited our taste buds and had us dreaming of his next creation. We used the boat twice to go snorkelling. The water was crystal clear so we saw lots of marine life. After snorkelling we were lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphin and we cruised along with them for quite a while. Most of our days were spent lounging by the pool, walking along the beach and swimming in the pristine turquoise ocean waters. Unlike the busier beaches on Zanzibar, Matemwe beach is relatively free of vendors pedalling their wears, so you aren't hassled or pressured to buy anything. I would recommend Villa Turquoise without hesitation. It is suitable for anyone looking to relax and soak up the African sun and feel the warmth of a salty breeze.

“Wonderful place!” We had a wonderful stay (6 weeks) at 3 Palms, everything was perfect : the self-catering cottage is very well equipped and decorated, garden and pool are so beautiful, it is located close to everything, and hosts are the best ever! Gert and antoinette welcomed us warmly and we have really felt like part of the family. Thanks a lot for doing much more than running a guesthouse!

“A piece of heaven on Earth!” This is the best accommodation my family has ever stayed in. From point of booking to day of departure, it was a wonderfully stress-free holiday. Hollywood Mansion is ABSOLUTE luxury, however allowing my teenage sons to also enjoy facilities, with having their own private cinema room/Pool table and gym overlooking the sea (it was too cold to swim in the pool!). Each room is tastefully decorated, the main bedroom with the view of the mountains when you are showering/lying in the bath is amazing. My favourite spot was the outside bench, which is next to the natural river that runs through the garden, the gentle sound of the river, reading my book, was just the best.. Kevin and his staff are top class, always available, however very discreet, nothing was to much to ask. My family and I felt very secure at all times, (my husband and I left the boys on their own without worrying about security). 5 Star staff/accomodation/facilities Hollywood Mansion definitely is. I have no hesitation in highly recommending staying here - a piece of heaven on earth indeed!
