“Barmouth Stsy” The best accommodation we have had so far in 10 years of coming to Barmouth. A little expensive however really worth it as the grounds are amazing and views on a rainy morning makes the accommodation a good place to stay in. There is literally everything you could think of there. I'd love to stay there again. The pictures do not do the place justice. Wonderful and great owners too. So helpful. Very positive experience and was a great stay for our family.

“a gem of a find” We were due to stay in this amazing place earlier this year and due to a personal situation were unable to go until December. What an amazing place, cozy, intimate, everything you need (regardless of the weather) set in this most stunning location. “Lovely house in a great location.” A lovely house, well furnished and ideal for a family holiday - children are well provided for with lots of toys and games provided. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Aberdaron is a small village located on a coastline which is totally unspoilt; great for walkers and families looking for a traditional sea-side holiday. I liked being able to contact the owner direct.

“Perfect couples hideaway” Can`t speak highly enough of this magnificent lodge ! It is a true home from home. Set down a quiet lane and in a location that is so very tranquil and peaceful. We have now stayed here many times and never get tired of the fantastic views. Superbly equipped in every way you could wish with a lovely cozy feel. Many times have we settled to watch a film on the television but have found our eyes watching what is going on in the estuary and not being able to concentrate on the tele...five star +++

“Very good accommodation” I stayed there for 2 nights. It was really enjoyable. The owner's instructions to find the chalet was helpful. The chalet and the entire holiday site was simply brilliant and good place to spend with kids. I look forward to go there again.

“Perfect house with wonderful view” Spacious, comfortable, well furnished, clean house, with all the amenities you could want. The views are simply amazing and we loved coming back to enjoy them from the large balcony or living room. Carol was very kind and communicative. Its location was also superb - easy to visit anywhere in Anglesey and also Caernarvon, Bangor, Conwy, etc. We had a wonderful week there and hope we can return soon.

“Amazing relaxing and cosy” We were expecting it to be good looking at previous reviews and it still exceeded our expectations. Lovely tranquil location, the caravan was very modern and clean and the little extras were fab. The cat's and dogs were a bonus and so friendly my son loved it. We used the bbq hut which was just amazing. The owners were really helpful and friendly. We visited bangor, beaumaris, Conwy and my son had a surfing lesson at surf Snowdonia. We all loved it and hope we get the chance to stay here again.

“An excellent experience in every regard!” Glynllifon is beautiful house. It is very comfortable and spacious and definitely the best equipped holiday let I have come across. The owners were very helpful and efficient and the house spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is wonderful and we were particularly fond of the nearby beach.

“Lovely place for a short visit” My husband and I stayed in this little ‘cottage’ for a long weekend. It was a lovely little place for a short stay but we definitely wouldn’t want to stop there for a full week - just a little bit too cramped. The cottage is more of a pine log cabin and is quite small even for two people. It does have everything you need - a kitchen with an oven and microwave and kettle but the kitchen is very small. We went when the weather was quite warm and it made cooking quite uncomfortable. I think I expected it to be larger - we have stayed in these kinds of places before and this was on the smaller side. My husband is also about 6 foot and taking a shower was a bit hard work for him as the shower didn’t seem to extend up to full human height. The fan in the bathroom was a little weird - we could never work out when it would be on or off and there was no way of defining that ourselves. It was annoying when it was loudly whirring at night. That being said - the place was set in really lovely gardens with a wonderful view. There was a lovely decking area for us to sit out, and we could have used the BBQ if we wanted to (I think... reading people’s comments it looks like we could have done although we were never told about this ourselves) We were greeted by the owners and were gifted a bottle of wine and a terrys chocolate orange. This was a lovely gesture, although we do not drink ourselves. There was information about the local area inside, and there was WiFi and tv. Also lots of books and dvds to watch if you wanted to. The tv looked to have sky - it didn’t (this was just a way to access freeview). We didn’t mind but it made finding available channels a little challenging. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a good size for us. This was a really nice surprise!! There was a strange little extra room with a single bed stuffed in there wall to wall - we couldn’t see the purpose in that. Would have been better as extra storage seeing as we have no place to put our clothes!! I think it must have previously been a storage space as there was an ironing board that couldnt be pulled away from the wall. We used it for Storing our clothes because there wasn’t anywhere else and I don’t think a third person would have ever slept in there (perhaps a small child?) We did love our stay and we think we would come again - perhaps we would stay in their other property The Nook?
