About the home

Kalia Apartments are a luxurious independently built , 4 Star Class Apartments in the heart of Sunny Beach. At 250m to the central strip, beach and water park It is ideal for all , close enough to the centre yet far enough away for peace and a great nights sleep. The complex is the best there is in Sunnybeach for location, tidyness and value for money second to none.

I was the first to buy in the Kalia Complex, so I chose the BEST 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT, which is apartment 12A situated on the 5th floor at the far left of the complex having 3 outside walls going from back to front. This provides a pool view balcony to the front and a large mountain view bedroom balcony to the rear where one can watch the sunset, It really is fantastic. The apartment has 2 powerful air conditioning units that can cool and dehumidify the whole place quickly.

I personally furnished the whole apartment myself , catering for families and couples a like. The bed settee folds out to a full size double bed comfortably sleeping two adults. There is a power shower to blast the sand off from a day on the beach and a fantastic kitchen I designed with a 2 ring ceramic hob, microwave/grill, toaster and kettle. Cable TV with many English channels including cartoons for kids, a 20" Samsung Flat Screen LCD and DVD player so feel free to bring your films! It is quiet on a night due to its great location, and thanks to the complex design as there are no people walking down corridors as there aren't any, each elevator serves just 3 apartments per floor! There is a restaurant and bar on site and the pool has cylinders where you can place your cocktail when bathing in the heat! There are 2 childrens swings and a childrens slide into the pool! There is a fantastic restaurant over the road that serves great pizzas and steaks. A quality fast food and pizza takeaway open 24hours that is unbelievably cheap is 100m away for those nights in watching a film when the kids need an early night.

Within less then 10 minute stroll is the main strip , bus station , beach , an enormous amount of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and a delicious quality Indian restaurant.

The Black Sea Coast region

The Black sea is on the Eastern side of Bulgaria. It has a 380 km long coastal strip with superb golden beaches with many resorts and holiday places.

The hottest month is July when the temperature of the sea water reaches 27C. The most famous resorts are Sunny Beach, Golden sands, Sozopol and Albena.

The Sunny Beach / Sunny Beach Main Resort area

Sunny Beach is the largest resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

The resort has a beautiful blue flag beach which stretches for approx. 6km around the bay. The whole resort is based around this horseshoe - virtually all amenities are within a hundred metres of the beach.

The resort has a wide range of activities with everything from Bungee jumping to Tenpin bowling catered for. There are bars, clubs, restaurants, markets, and water parks all within walking distance of the centre.

A wide variety of water sports are available on the beach, in addition to the thousands of sunbeds and parasols.

Sunny Beach is a lovely resort it has something for everyone of all ages young and old and especially families. There are plenty of shops, boutiques and supermarkets in the area, plus a few banks and general stores.

Sunny Beach can also offer some of the best nightlife anywhere on the Black Sea coast - with hundreds of bars, clubs and eateries.

There is a great Airport Transfer service that the Kalia Complex Management provide and can be arranged at a very reasonable price when stopping in my apartment, great reliable service, contact for details.

From the UK there are many flights to Bulgaria from up and down the country. Sunny Beach is primarily reached via Bourgas Airport (BOJ) as it is only a 20 minutes transfer by car/coach.

Sunny Beach can also be reached via Varna Airport (VAR) which is further north of the resort and approximately 1 hour 30 minutes transfer by car/coach.

www.wizzair.com Budget Airline flies out from Luton to both Bourgas and Varna and are all daytime and evening flights.

www.easyjet.com Budget Airline currently flying to Sofia, very cheap.

“Amazing apartment!'” This apartment was fab, it was centrally located but away from the noise. A nice clean apartment with all the bits you need included, and the pool is lovely too. We will be returning!! Thank you.

“Top Class Apartment!” This apartment exceeded our expectations. It is as shown in the photos, completely spotlessly clean, bright and spacious. It has everything you will need. The complex itself is second to none, the upkeep of which is fantastic. The location is perfect, about 7mins walk to the centre, so close enough, yet just far enough out for the peace and quiet we experienced. Matt is a pleaseure to deal with and a great help with making sure everything ran smoothly, as regards, airport transfers, resort information and recommendations. All in all a great apartment, 10/10!!!
