The Tuscany region

Located on the right side of the river Egola, along the road to Montaione, Corazzano is known for the ancient church of San Giovanni, which once gave its name to the locality.

Already built in the VIII - IX century near the Via Francigena, the current building dates back to the twelfth century.

Since 1491 the church was incorporated in Chapter Metro Florence and its assets passed under the patronage of Florence.

San Miniato

The historic center of the town is strategically located on a hill along the Arno River, halfway between Florence and Pisa, the city, until the final conquest of Florence, was then the scene of clashes between the two capitals today. Seat of the diocese, San Miniato is an important economic and industrial center of the area of the scalp and is famous for its white truffles.
