Leading down from the huge terrace is a luxurious private pool surrounded by numerous areas on which to laze around and soak up the hot sun.The gardens are fully stocked with pretty colourful flowers and an "English Lawn" ( Very rare in Spain as nearly all of the grass is called Gramma which is spongy , horrible to walk on and impossible to relax on ) , perfect for picnics , ball games or just sunbathing on.
Full (All channels including Sports and Movies) Sky Digital HD with a 50 inch Plasma in the living room with home cinema system linked throughout the villa to large plasmas in each room including every bedroom and even the kitchen . While a separate T.V. room , with it's own independent full Sky system , ensures that the children are fully amused whilst giving the adults plenty of peace and quiet. Outdoor speaker system on terrace so that you can listen to your ipod whilst chilling either in the sun or during those warm , tranquil evenings..There is also completely reliable, secure high speed WiFi at the villa. If it is sheer luxury and tranquility that you are looking for whilst being only 4 minutes by car away from the Port with it's 3 mile long spectacular beech , 10 minutes to Alcudia (5 mile white sandy beech) , 6 mins to Cala St. Vincente ( 2 pristine sandy coves ) and 5 mins to the historic old town of Pollenca this is the only place to stay.
All of this makes Saltamontes SIMPLY THE BEST equipped oversized Villa available to rent in the Pollenca/Port de Pollenca area !!!! Don't be stuck down in the valley this Summer on flat land with no breeze. Because of it's position Saltamontes enjoys cooling Ocean breezes directly from the bay of Pollensa which makes sunbathing on any of it's many terraces all the more enjoyable. In the Summer months you cannot buy these breezes for any amount of money. Saltamontes has it all !!
The housekeeper and gardener/pool man are an English couple so communication with them is easy , just in case you have any special little needs or any problems arise during your stay.
At time of booking you will receive their contact details so that your arrival is smooth , and also so that should any small problems arise during your stay, ie a fuse blows in the house or something isn't working as it should then this can be taken care of immediately with no fuss, bother or communication problems.
Saltamontes is a non-smoking property inside , although there are plenty of outside terraces on which to enjoy both a cigarette or cigar.

Saltamontes is a luxurious villa set on the hillside above Puerto Pollensa. The accommodation and gardens are excellent and well represented on the photography on the holiday lettings website. All bedrooms very well air conditioned and lots of indoor space (great kitchen, dining room , lounge and tv/snug room). Internet and sky television (two sky boxes so children could separate to watch the cricket or golf!). Maid service during the week very friendly and quick. Pool cleaned twice in the week. Car or taxis are essential or you will get very fit walking into Puerto Pollensa. Local area is beautiful with Pollensa and Cala San Vicente being two of the highlights. |
