About the home

The main living and dining area has a lovely atmosphere. Where you can enjoy a digital Flat screen TV , a DVD or listen to your favourite music, relax and enjoy. Internet access available.There are two bedrooms, both beautifully decorated with two elegant bathrooms - one with walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, electric kettle, blender, juice maker, washing machine and many more items for your convenience. From the kitchen you step out to the patio with BBQ table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. This leads on to the electricaly heated swimming pool and sun terrace.

The Lanzarote region

International tourists flock to Lanzarote to enjoy the island's unique combination of spectacular volcanic caves and craters, wonderful beaches and year-round sunshine.

With an average year-round temperature of 22C, Lanzarote is a favourite escape for northern Europeans seeking winter sunshine.

But this is an island which offers so much more than sunshine. In 1987 Lanzarote was declared one of the six universal models of sustainable development by the World Tourism Organization and in 1994 it was declared a Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation).

The famous Cueva de los Verdes is a huge chasm within an eight-kilometre long volcanic lava tunnel formed by an eruption 5,000 years ago. This incredible cave system, which once provided refuge against pirates and slave traders, connects the Corona volcano with the sea.

Here you'll also find one of the island's top tourist spots - the Jameos del Agua which are a spectacular combination of natural and manmade architecture. Lanzarote's most famous son, the artist and sculptor Cesar Manrique, sympathetically created an extraordinary visitor attraction out of volcanic passages and underground grottoes.

The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area

Puerto del Carmen is the largest and most established resort in Lanzarote and is a good base for a superb beach holiday, together with its large choice of clubs, bars and restaurants.
Relax on the excellent sandy beach, explore the lovely old town or shop till you drop in the many stores.

The original fishing village still retains much of its charm and is home to some lively bars as well as harbour-side restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes.

Carnival
The biggest annual party on the island – Carnival in Puerto del Carmen is a major event that attracts tens of thousands of revelers every year.
The spirit of Carnival in Puerto del Carmen is all inclusive and welcoming – especially if you are really prepared to get right into the swing of things and don fancy dress – which virtually every one else does.
The main Carnival procession – featuring floats and lots of batacuda drum bands – winds its way down the main Avenida de las Playas. Before disintegrating into a massive all-night party in the Old Town harbour area.

Iron Man
The toughest Triathlon in the world. And by the time the competitors have made it through a 3.8km swim and 180km bike ride – and onto the final leg, which is a full marathon up and down the main strip in Puerto del Carmen – you’ll see why for yourself! As some runners can barely stand and many don’t even make the finish line.
