About the home

Agua Brava is situated in a quiet part of the "Old Town" area of Puerto Del Carmen, just 10 minutes walk down to the harbour or the water-sports quay and beach, or a 15 minutes walk to the main beach and the sea-front shops bars and restaurants. The apartment is nestled on a complex of only 22 units. There is restaurants, shops and a supermarket within 5 minutes stroll of Agua Brava complex.
For a holiday combining poolside with beach, Agua Brava is an ideal base. For those wanting to tour the island of Lanzarote there are a wide variety of coach and boat excursions well worth investigating.Alternatively there are plenty of car hire agencies if you want to explore the island at your own leisure

Apartment captures the last rays of sunshine in evening. This spacious apartment is centrally located beside a bus terminal, ATM and phone booth. Restaurants are at your doorstep.

The Lanzarote region

Shops, restaurants and bars by the hundreds run the length of the sea front. It's busy and cheerful but considerably more relaxed than resorts on other Canary Islands.

The Old Town has managed to keep the look and feel of a old Spanish village. The area is filled with many magnificent Restaurants located over the Old Town.

The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area

There's a beach to suit every taste: from the busy resorts of Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Tequise, the wild surfing beach at Famara in the west or the golden sandy coves of the southern peninsular of Papagayo. Pleasure boats from Puerto Del Carmen harbour explore the coast and ferries connect with neighbouring Fuerteventura from Playa Blanca.

Inland there's the spectacular "Mountains of Fire" trail through the lunar volcanic landscape which culminates in a visit to the restaurant where steaks are grilled over the natural heat. Many of the leading attractions have been designed by Manrique -including the beautiful Jameos Del Agua lagoon and caverns, the Jardin de Cactus at Guatiza, or the Monumento El Campesino (museum of rural life) with its outstanding restaurant which specialises in traditional Canarian food and wine.

On Sundays there's a craft and souvenir market which fills the streets of the ancient town of Tequise. Few people among the crowds that throng the square in front of San Miguel Church notice that the beautifully restored Palacio Del Spinola is open to the public.

Closer to Africa than Spain ; drier than parts of the Sahara, ecologically friendly, and a visitors delight. These are just some of the assets of Lanzarote, the archipelago's most easterly island.

Ryanair now fly out from Dublin, Shannon, Knock, Cork to Lanzarote. Aerlingus operates 3 direct flights per week from Dublin to Lanzarote between October and March. They also now fly direct from Cork to Lanzarote twice weekly between October and March.
Many tour operators fly direct from the main airports of the UK, Scotland and Ireland throughout the entire year.
There are also direct flights from most major airports throughout Europe and Canada as well.

Had a fanstastic time in Lanzarote. Our accommodation was excellent and could not fault. Our location was second to none. We were near restaurants, shops and taxi's and also near the pubs for the premiership!!
The accommodation is clean which is important personally to me and our towels were changed mid week by their caretaker Judy who was excellent. An exellent apartment with all facilities catered for.
