If luxury in a sought after area close to the beach and town centre is what you want from a holiday home, then why not hire this beautiful 1 bedroom bungalow on the well known and loved 'Playa Park' Complex (close to the San Antonio Hotel.) The bungalow is quietly situated in tropical well maintained gardens, extremely near to the beach and Puerto Del Carmen's main attractions. There is roadside parking immediately outside and fantastic evening entertainment just moments away.
Car hire is not necessary as all of your holiday requirements are practically on your doorstep! These include beaches, bars, shops, doctors, laundry, park, car hire and the fantastic "Rancho Texas Theme Park". An ideal location with lovely accommodation suitable for all - many guests return year after year. As owners living on the island, we are here for you and are on hand to offer good service, advice and information.

Our villa has recently been refurbished and modernised and is now very light and airy and would suit 2-4 guests looking for a low cost self catering holiday in a great location.

Playa Park has beautifully maintained gardens and 2 swimming pools. One is small and ideal for young children and the other is much larger. Both are heated.
The Lanzarote region
Puerto Del Carmen is the most popular resort in Lanzarote and can be found just 15 minutes from Arrecife Airport. The shops, bars, restaurants and beaches are all within easy walking distance & a car is only necessary for the more adventurous wishing to visit places of interest in & around the island. Whether you are looking for a peaceful relaxing time or a holiday full of activity, Puerto Del Carmen offers a wide variety of activities & interests to satisfy all requirements. The resort has been developed into a beautiful vibrant place affording six kilometres of promenade lined with palm trees & numerous sandy beaches. The 'Old Town' of Puerto Del Carmen is only a short distance away & offers an abundance of Fish restaurants with breathtaking views to Fuerteventura. Also close by is the 'Biosfera' shopping centre where you can buy designer goods & bargains galore! Getting out and about is simple & inexpensive as car hire, taxis and local bus services are all reasonably priced.
The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
Due to the fantastic Lanzarote climate, Puerto del Carmen offers the ability to enjoy outdoor activities all year round. If sun and sea are your thing, then the 6 kilometre stretch of golden beaches washed by the waters of the Atlantic should be enough to tempt you. All of the beaches fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination.
The surrounding waters are considered to be some of the most tranquil in the Canary Islands, they are excellent for Swimming and other water sports. There are a number of diving schools and windsurfing centres in Puerto del Carmen, if you fancy taking up one of these exhilarating sports.
For the more energetic amongst you; swimming, cycling and running are also very popular, with various bike hire shops along the main beach promenade. The Lanzarote IronMan triathlon, which is a major international athletics event, starts and finishes on the Avenida de Las Playas, lending an air of excitement to the resort every May / June.
Within a 10 minute walking distance of the bungalow is Lanzarotes most popular "Rancho Texas Theme Park," Country & Western days & nights with fantastic music and dancing. It has fantastic grounds & play areas including the parrot shows,canoes, goldmines, wigwams and playparks. There are many wild animas in the zoo, from birds of prey, crocodiles, sealions & a white Lion to name a few. Younger children will also enjoy "Liliput farm", in all, great entertainment for both adults and children.
There are a wealth of shopping opportunities available, whether you want to peruse the tourist offerings of the main Beach Avenue or fancy something a bit more upmarket in the new Biosfera shopping complex. Everything is available from Duty free Electronics equipment, local Arts and Crafts through to Luxury designer clothes and shoes.
The Carnaval is one of our main fiestas & takes place at the end of February to the Beginning of March & attracts many visitors from all over Europe, joining the local residents in their celebrations.
The end of July signals the Fiesta de Carmen, patron saint of Puerto del Carmen. Visitors again make the population swell as folklore performances, singing and dancing fill the night until the early hours of the morning. Specially decorated fishing boats setting out to sea, to pray for good catches in the coming year, signals the end of this particular fiesta.
There are well over 100 restaurants on the Avenida de Las Playas alone, with menus to suit all tastes and budgets from Fast Food, through to High class Gourmet eating.

Apartment was spacious and clean Everything on hand that you would need.. close to amenities. Gates have codes,, so no strangers casn get in. Quiet complex. Lovely pool and very clean. Great location set slightly back off the main road. so you can have the best of both worlds a short walk to the noisy bars if you want it or the peaceful resturants nearby. |
