From the owner

Dixie Creek Bungalow is a Park model size tiny home with many big comforts. Located in the heart of historic Prairie City with the Strawberry Wilderness as a backdrop.

We only use environmentally friendly cleaning products, mostly from Young Living Essential Oils. This 360 sq ft tiny home is complete and oh so cute and comfy! There is a full bathroom complete with a tub and endless hot water with the tank less water heater. The master bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the house. There is a narrow staircase to the 5' loft where you will find two twin beds and a fun space for kids, games and DVD watching on big bean bag chairs. We have beautiful woodwork throughout and the large shared front deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and BBQ a nice dinner.

Our other Tiny, that will be sharing the deck is an extended stay unit that accepts pets. So please be aware that while this unit is pet free, there may be pets on the premises. We use a keyless entry system and you will be sent the information a week prior to your arrival.

We sleep and seat 4 comfortably, six is possible with the queen hide-a-bed though it makes sitting a tight squeeze.

We supply you will everything you may need for a short stay, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, basic spices, popcorn, olive oil. We also have a water filter pitcher. While there is a two burner cook top and Microwave, there is not an oven.

We are located behind the Washing Well Laundromat with plenty of parking, across from the Fire Department. Everything you may need is within walking distance to downtown. Grocery, several restaurants, coffee shop, Antiques.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
