Stay with us and explore some of our favorite places, take the afternoon to head into town and enjoy. The Hideaway is centrally located on the island and only a few short minutes from the airport. While the bus route is directly across, renting a car is highly recommended.

We are just two kilometers from the famous Mangel Halto beach, perfect to snorkel and relax. If you are looking for a flurry of activity in town, Oranjestad is only a few minutes drive away.

The apartment features three bedrooms (each with its on a/c unit) along with two full bathrooms. Towels and bed linens provided, with access to a washing machine and dryer throughout your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are patio areas where you can barbeque, drink your coffee in the mornings or simply hang out and relax. The pool is right outside your front door and is shared with the other two apartments available for rent in the Hideaway. WiFi is provided and free parking is available just outside the complex.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kris (the owner) a message.

If Kris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
