Pontremoli is a beautiful medieval town full of character and colour. The old town squares have numerous restaurants, pasticceria shops, bars and an ice cream parlour.
The countryside around is breathtaking with many rivers, lakes and mountains to explore. Slightly further afield, many of our guests have enjoyed boat trips up the Cinque Terre coast or enjoyed a day out at the beach.
Spring, Summer and Autumn are the best times to visit to enjoy the weather and the surrounding beautiful countryside. During the Summer there are numerous local festivals, often with a medieval theme, with delicious delicacies of the region.
