Pollensa holiday villa 260
Villa | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
Villa 260 is situated in an idyllic location, nestled into the countryside with very nice mountain views. The original farmhouse, which dates back more than 300 years, has been beautifully restored and is surrounded by its 25 acre estate.
Built on two floors the property has many traditional features, inner stone walls and beamed ceilings which altogether add charm and personality. The villa offers peace and privacy and beautiful views of the valley.
Beautiful big, wooden double doors introduce us to the spacious open-plan dining room and lounge area with its original round table made from a olive press. There is both a DVD player and Satellite TV and the house has unlimited internet connection (WiFi). Behind the dining area, passed an inner stone archway we find the traditional , country home style kitchen. There is an electric oven with gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Opposite the kitchen you will find a cloak room. The side door leads us out onto the rear terrace and pool area.
A very special feature of this house is the sitting room with comfortable sofas, a fireplace and original stone walls. From this room a wooden staircase leads up to the open plan double bedroom with en suite shower room. The bedroom has wooden floors and boasts beautiful views across the countryside. From the main hall, a second staircase leads up to the rest of the accommodation, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, as well as one full family bath/shower room. Most of the rooms have vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and rustic features.
This country house provides comfortable accommodation and is refreshingly cool in summer mainly due to the thick walls.
The swimming pool has corner steps, furnished sun deck, and a comfortable poolside 'casita', all surrounded by a mature, well kept garden. The outdoor areas are very appreciated and quickly become the meeting point, either for long al fresco meals or reading, relaxing hours.

Pollensa and its surroundings is one of the most beautiful areas of the island and an ideal retreat for vacationers who are looking for the original Mallorca as well as outstanding beaches. Here a diverse landscape merges with well-kept sandy beaches and coves nestled into cliff lines beckoning to swim. Old and young will enjoy the fine white sand beaches and gentle turquoise waves. The bay of Pollensa is very popular with the marine community and offers excellent opportunities for water sports, including sailing and kite surfing. The old fisherman's village has conserved its typical charm and is very appreciated for its long beach and its emblematic sea front stroll, the'Pine Walk'. From Puerto Pollensa a short drive through breathtaking landscape takes you to Formentor, the lost utopia. Its pine bordered beach with the imposing mountain background has captivated many artists and painters . The Sierra de Tramuntana is ideally suited for hiking and biking excursions. Cala San Vicente offers crystal clear water, ideal for diving and snorkling, and a resort with a familiar atmosphere. Pollensa is the perfect starting point to explore the whole island; plunge into the lush emerald flora with centenary olive and pine groves, almond and fig trees and into the maze of Pollensa's narrow Moorish streets with numerous cafés and shops scattered around the picturesque town square, where you also find many high standard restaurants. The quiet village life conquers many visitors and renting a town house is becoming an attractive alternative to villas and apartments. Sights like the Calvary or the Roman Bridge, interesting places and events like the municipal museum, the Music Festival and numerous art exhibitions make Pollensa attractive and inviting.
Whatever you are looking for, a beach holiday, a water sports holiday, a quiet retreat or even a cultural and gastronomic feast - Pollensa is the place to visit. Welcome!
