About the home

Villa Esperanza is a luxury detached villa set in its own large corner plot with a private electrically heated swimming pool. The property has been stylishly furnished, and is further enhanced by marble floors throughout. This villa is very spacious with everything thoughtfully provided. Situated on an exclusive development, La Goleta also has a large communal pool for use by all guests.

The coast / lighthouse is approximately 15 minutes walk away. You will find a promenade here that sweeps around the coast of Playa Blanca providing breathtaking views. The nearest beach (Playa Flamingo) is 5 minutes drive from the villa. Playa Papagayo which is considered to be the best beach on the island is 15 minutes drive from the villa.

There is a small supermarket & a few bars, cafes & restaurants which can be reached by a 10 minute walk (apporx) or 2 minute drive. The following Restaurants can be reached by a 30 mins walk towards Playa Blanca. "El Argentino" Grill Restaurant, "La Campana" Pizzeria, and "Mirador Los Lobos" Fish and Seafood Restaurant.

Playa Blanca centre is a 5 minute drive away by car or taxi. This is a cosmopolitan resort with an assortment of shops,bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, including typical Canarian cuisine.

If you want a relaxing holiday in luxurious surroundings - this is definitely what you have been searching for.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed, large teak fitted wardrobes & bedside cabinets. Patio doors opening out onto the pool & terrace area. Bedroom 2 with twin beds, large teak fitted wardrobes & bedside cabinets & views of the pool area. Both bedrooms are fitted with lockable shutters and mosquitoe nets. There are coastal views from the bedrooms.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower over, sink & toilet. This bedroom & bathroom can be made completely private from the rest of the villa by closing a door in the hallway. Bathroom 2 with large marble walk in shower, sink & toilet. Both bathrooms have teak fitted cupboards & large marble framed mirrors. A safe is also provided. Hairdryer supplied..

Kitchen: Cooker/Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Kettle, Coffee Maker, Toaster & Sandwich Toaster, Crockery, Cutlery & Glasses for up to 5 people.

Utility Room: Washing Machine, Clothes Dryer, Ironing Board & Iron. There is also an assortment of inflatable toys for use in the pool.

Living Room: Large open plan lounge with vaulted ceiling & French doors that open out onto the terrace. 2 cream leather sofas & an additional seat that opens up into the fifth bed. CD player, satellite TV with English channels, DVD, & Video, I Pod docking station. Large selection of DVDs / Video's, CDs, Books & Games.

Cleaning/Towels and Linen: Bath towels & linen are included. The villa is cleaned prior to your arrival. For guests staying 10 nights or more there will be a towel and linen change halfway through your stay. Pool towels are not included.

There is also a travel cot, highchair and baby bath at the villa for you to use free of charge.

Further details outdoors:
There is a large sun terrace that extends across the rear of the property and incorporates the private heated swimming pool & 4 luxury sunloungers.

An Alfresco eating area adjoins the kitchen. There is a large marble table here and sufficient seating to comfortably accommodate 5 people. There is also a barbecue in this area.

There is an additional hard wood table & 4 chairs outside the French doors.We have recently had fitted a retractable vertical awning to this area. At night you can sit here with your favourite drink and look down towards the lighthouse, & across to the illuminated island of Fuerteventura.

The Lanzarote region

Stuated off the west coast of Africa, Lanzarote enjoys one of the most arid and sunny climates in the Canaries. The average temperature ranges from 20 degrees in January to 30 degrees in August. Lanzarote has an abundance of golden sandy beaches which lends itself to being a sun seekers paradise. Lanzarote is perfect for those looking for that year round tan.

Lanzarote has a mysterious lunar landscape which provides unique sight seeing opportunities. A trip to the Timanfaya National Park is unforgetable with hundreds of volcanic cones to admire.

There is a championship golf course & water park in Costa Teguise which is around 30 minutes drive from the villa. There is also a new golf course at Tias, about a 20 minute drive away.

A visit to the Caesar Manrique foundation is not to be missed. Manrique was responsible for many of the prolific landscape and conservation works on the island.

Lanzarote has something to offer for everyone. Come to the island and experience the best kept secret in the Canaries. Lanzarote is also a tax free island - so you can take full advantage of this when shopping.

The Playa Blanca / Faro Park area

Playa Blanca is a cosmopolitan resort with an abundance of restaurants and pavement cafe / bars to suit all tastes.

There is a new marina at Puerto Rubicon which is a 10 minute drive from the villa.

From the harbour in Playa Blanca you can take a trip across to Fuerteventura. You can take the car, or go as a foot passenger.

On Faro Park you will find a small supermarket which stocks everything you may need, also a bakery and a few bars/restaurants.

There is a local bus that runs from near to the villa. It stops at all the local beaches, Playa Blanca centre and the marina for under 2 Euros. Taxis are also very cheap, it costs approximately 4 Euros to the centre of Playa Blanca.

Fly to Arrecife airport in Lanzarote. This usually takes around 3.5 hours from the U.K.
