About the home

Casa Calma is suitable for families or couples wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday in the sun. The villa is located on a quiet, peaceful and select development just a fifteen minute easy walk to the picturesque centre of Playa Blanca

The villa benefits from its own private pool and has been furnished to a very high standard with leather settees and quality furnishings. There are three good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a Jacuzzi bath which is part of the master bedroom en suite.

Now with broadband internet access and high quality air conditioning/heating.

We chose the name Casa Calma very carefully and furnished and equipped the villa to a very high standard. It is truly beautiful! Casa Calma is located a gentle fifteen minutes walk from both the town centre and the picturesque Flamingo beach. There is a small mini market within a two minute walk but very well stocked supermarkets on the main street. And taxis home cost only 3 Euros! (day and night) It’s ideally situated.

The villa and pool are well looked after by our Manage ment company and you will be greeted with flowers and a welcome pack of basic essentials. Bathroom towels and bed linen are provided and changed mid-week, when the villa and pool are also serviced so that everything remains clean and fresh.

Further details outdoors:
The outside dining area is perfect for enjoying an al fresco eating experience in the balmy evenings, and comes equipped with a barbecue. There is a patio dining table with six chairs and there are six quality sun loungers too.

The swimming pool is electrically heated and enjoys a large terrace area for soaking up the suns rays before taking a plunge. The garden is surrounded by a low volcanic wall.

The Lanzarote region

The island is one of the most easterly of the Canary Islands and is a Spanish territory. It is thinly populated and is an ideal destination for anyone wanting sun, sea, sand, sights and relaxation. In addition, it is a land of dramatic volcanic landscapes, hills and delightful beaches of pure Sahara sand. Thanks to the efforts of local artist Cesar Manrique, few buildings are higher than 2 stories and are typically Spanish in appearance. It is a place of unusual but natural beauty populated by friendly and welcoming local people.

The Playa Blanca / Parque del Rey area

Playa Blanca is a clean, quiet haven located on the Southern most point of Lanzarote. From every beach you can see the islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos, one of the most spectacular beach views available in the World. There are four separate golden beaches in Playa Blanca and at least a further eight beaches collectively known as Playas de Papagayo. Papagayo is located on the East side of Playa Blanca near the new 5 star Marina complex and is widely known as the finest collection of beaches in the whole of Spain.

Playa Blanca was for centuries a quiet fishing village with only the odd pirate invasion to keep the locals on their toes! Although the village is now more built up and reliant on tourism it still retains a pirate-free fishing fleet which you can see leaving the harbour each morning.
