Casas Del Sol is a development of villas set in beautiful mature gardens opposite the harbour in Playa Blanca. The complex is mainly traffic free having a car park at the entrance but allowing access to the villas for luggage drop off and pick up.The atmosphere on this complex is very laid back, friendly and cosmopolitan making this perfect for a relaxing holiday. This is a lovely property in a very convenient location on the complex as it is at the beginning of the incline with beautiful mature gardens in front of it. From the patio and the lounge there are wonderful sea views and on the patio there are table, chairs and sun loungers all with thick comfortable cushions and a barbecue.

The lounge/diner has modern furniture/furnishings which are both practical and comfortable. The bedrooms have very recently been refurbished with new beds & furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite shower room, the 2nd bedroom has twin beds and the 3rd bedroom is a small bunk bedroom.A family bathroom has shower & bath.The added facilities of the property are washing machine, satellite TV, DVD player, ipod docking station, CD player, safe and hairdryer.
A cot and high chair can be hired.
There are air conditioning/heating units in both the main bedrooms, a fan in the bunk room and heating available in all areas for the winter months. The air conditioning is charged on a pay as you use basis.
Free wi-fi is available in the villa and free wi-fi and a static computer are available in the main reception area of the complex.

Part of the complex is on the flat and part is on a gentle incline which provides some of the properties with good views. A solar heated swimming pool and children's pool form the centre of this development with sun beds and shade by the pool, there is also an outdoor shower, toilets and a drinks machine in the pool area for your enjoyment. The reception office is staffed by helpful, friendly people who are ready to assist you 7 days a week until 10pm so late arrivals are always catered for plus there is also a small store for essential groceries also open late. A tennis court to the rear of the complex adds to the amenities to be enjoyed on this site.

The Canary Islands region
Lanzarote is a unique island of spectacular scenery and stark contrasts. The landscape is volcanic and very different to the other Canary Islands. It is located approximately 40 miles from the Moroccan coast in the Atlantic Ocean and about 4 hours flying time from the U.K. The weather is fine and warm throughout the year with very little rainfall and temperatures varying between 21 and 34 degrees.
The buildings are mainly low rise in complexes with garden areas and there are many inland villages untouched by time. The whole island gives a feeling of relaxation and quality.
There are many interesting places to visit - the Timanfaya National Park is a must. Here you can take a camel ride to see the volcanic landscape or take the interesting bus tour around the craters. In the central parts of the island you will see the very unusual way local farmers cultivate their land and to the north Los Jameos is a unique system of underground tubes to be visited. The house of Caesar Manrique is particularly interesting, as an architect and an artist he is responsible for the unique way in which Lanzarote has developed.
The best windsurfing areas are to the north of the island, whereas the south is more sheltered and has lovely beaches of golden sand. The Papagayo beaches are famous throughout the Canaries for their unspoilt natural beauty and crystal clear sea. There are 2 golf courses on the island.
Playa Blanca is situated on the southern tip of the island, approximately a 40 minute drive from the airport. It benefits from the best weather on the island and superb views over the straits of La Bocaina to Fuerteventura.
The resort has expanded along the coast but the buildings are mainly high quality villas and hotels. The village centre is pedestrianised with landscaping of the main thoroughfare and many shops and restaurants along the promenade and through the centre. . The origins of the fishing village it once was are still in evidence and provide the resort with a heart and character. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed with the focus on the nightlife being in the restaurants, local bars or hotels. Children are welcomed everywhere and entertainment is provided for them in the evening in the hotels. Daytime activities are usually centred around the beach, the pool or a variety of boat trips which can be taken from the harbour or the Marina Rubicon. There is a 2x weekly market at the Marina and many quality shops & restaurants. Ferries leave regularly throughout the day across to Fuerteventura and the crossing takes approximately 40 minutes.
