"FIRST CLASS FLAT IN A FIRST CLASS LOCATION"
Pine Lodge is a modern, beautifully situated location away from the crowded Pamporovo ski centres yet with direct access up to the top of the main skiing areas. The flat is spacious and well equipped with all the mod-cons that one would expect in one's own home and is warm and comfortable after a day on the slopes.
Ski hire is now available from the basement of Pine Lodge itself having been recently moved from the foot of the local lift making it easy and convenient to get your equipment right on the doorstep. The lift staff are friendly and helpful and, as it is only a short distance from Pine Lodge it is very handy indeed.
The bar in the basement of Pine Lodge was open every day as we returned from skiing at about 16:00 hrs and the huge open fire was always blazing a warm welcome which was always a pleasure.
The only amenity Pine Lodge lacks (if you really need it on a holiday) is Wi-Fi. However, free Wi-Fi is available in many of the local restaurants and cheap vouchers can be purchased in most of the skiing cafes all over the hill. One voucher can be used at several different locations on the slopes and are reasonably cheap to buy.
Overall, we found Pine Lodge a delightful area to have a skiing holiday and, as long as you want a quiet time and not the buzz of mad apres-ski nightlife, this is for you. I can wholeheartedly recommend No 17 Pine Lodge as a lovely flat and an excellent venue for your stay in Bulgaria.

"A really comfortable apartment in a lovely mountain setting."
This was our first time in Bulgaria and Pine Lodge set the scene for a very enjoyable holiday. The owners gave us clear directions from Sophia and we located the apartment easily. They also provided useful tips on driving and settling into the local area. The apartment is of a good standard; very comfortable with all the little extras which make self-catering a good option - the kitchen was really well equipped with utensils, gadgets and cooking pots. Tea towels were included in the 'bedding' pack (rarely done in our experience). We felt the apartment was a real 'home from home' and would definitely go back if we decide to return to that area. The Rodope Mountains are very beautiful and we found fantastic walks on the doorstep or just a short drive away. If you are thinking of going to Bulgaria this is well worth a visit. Ours was a late summer visit and the weather was excellent throughout - warm and sunny in the day (perfect for walking) but a bit cool in the evenings (take a warm top if you want to sit and eat outdoors). We would certainly recommend having a car to enjoy the area properly - but beware lots of potholes in the roads and cyrillic lettering on the road signs once you leave the main roads. Other than this it's a great place to visit and Pine Lodge is a great place to stay.

"Very beautiful home away from home"
Perfect little getaway apartment. After spending the days snowboarding it was very nice coming home to a warm apartment! Very cosy and within walking distance from a nice cheap little restaurant. Town is just a short car journey away where you'll find everything you need to stock the fridge.
The resort itself is small but perfect for the beginners. Restaurants on the slopes are full of friendly staff and were always very helpful.
Would definitely recommend Pine Lodge and can see myself going back very soon!

"What a lovely place!"
The apartment is really comfortable and well-equipped, whether you want to stay in and cook or just fill the fridge with snacks and drinks. It was exactly as we had been led to believe by Pete and Gr… More

"great ski apartment in the mountains"
The stay we had in Pinelodge was very relaxing, the apartment was very cosy and comfortable perfect place to come back to after a hard days walking/skiing.
It was within walking distance of one of the chair lifts which took you to the top of the mountain/ski domain. Good skiing with a decent choice of pistes, and some fantastic views at the top.
There is a restaurant next door and also one within the building with great food and friendly staff.
Within driving distance of the nearest town for shopping a car is handy although taxis are super cheap so car not essential.
All in all a great value stay in Bulgaria
