About the home

Apartment Diana is positioned well on this 2009 completed Complex and offers 4 good size Swimming Pools, Baby Pool and a Gym for the more athletic! There are shrubs and small trees throughout the Complex mainly surrounding the Pool areas, with plenty of sunbathing spaces for those seeking relaxation and wishing to soak up the Mediterranean Sun!! The Balcony is of very generous size which looks over one of the sparkling Pools and is Sea facing. Enjoy Alfresco dining whilst watching the sun go down with the gentle sound of the church bells in the background.

The Complex is ideally located with being in easy reach of all amenities for those not wishing to hire a car. If you do however hire a car it will allow you to see so much more of this beautiful Island!

The Apartment offers an open plan living area which is bright & airy and includes 2 comfortable Leather Sofas. The 3 seater opens out into a good size Double Sofa Bed giving sleeping space for up to 6 people. There is a Flat screen 32" LCD TV, DVD Player plus a selection of Movies, Playstation 2 and a good selection of PS2 Games for your enjoyment. Newly added, Satellite TV with English channels and Docking station for I-Pods.

An archway leads you through to a fully equipped Kitchen with Granite Work Surfaces, Double Sink with a separate tap for Drinking Water. You will find an Electric Fan Assisted Oven and Hob, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Toaster, Kettle, Iron, Ironing Board and CD Player. You should find all you need to self cater.

The Master Bedroom has a King size Bed with a fully sprung mattress, Bedside Tables, Dressing Table and plenty of hanging and drawer space in the built in wardrobes. A Private En-suite includes a fully pumped Shower, Sink and WC. The Bedroom also looks over one of the Pools. The Second Bedroom again with large built in Wardrobes, Twin Beds with fully sprung mattresses, Bedside Cabinet & Wall Mirror.

The Main Bathroom has an overhead fully pumped Shower above a full size Bath, WC and Sink. Hot water is heated by solar power throughout the warm summer months with a back up water heater if required.

A Complementary Welcome Pack is included with a few essential items to get you started.

This is a Non Smoking Apartment and smoking is only permitted on the balcony or outside areas.

Children must be supervised by Pool area at all times.

Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking (a reservation can only be held for 7 days)
The balance is required, including a security bond of £150, 8 weeks prior to departure. The Security bond will be returned in full within 2 weeks of completion of your holiday, providing there are no major damages,
breakages or losses.

Check in/departure times can be flexible - please enquire.

Cancellations - If the holiday is cancelled more than 8 weeks prior to departure you will lose all the deposit you paid. If you cancel less than 8 weeks but before 2 weeks prior to departure 50% cancellation charges will apply. If you cancel less than 2 weeks prior to departure 100% cancellation charges apply. The security bond of £150 will however be returned in full.

Prices are for the apartment per week, not per person.

The Paphos region

Pathos is a truly beautiful and exciting place with so much to see, and is supported by an efficient and cheap bus service. The sandy cove at Coral Bay with water sports, sunbeds, shops and restaurants is only a 15-20 minute drive away. Aphrodites rock located on the coast road is a stunning place to see, with the water so clear and being the mythical birthplace of Aphodite the goddess of love.

A little further along is the very pretty and tranquil bay at Pissouri, again with watersports and beach facilities which is well worth a visit. On leaving the bay you can drive up through the old Pissouri village high above the bay with stunning views seen from the lookout point.

The Akamas Peninsula near Polis with an abundance of walking trails to follow whilst taking in the breath taking natural beauty of this region. The Baths of Aphrodite, a natural grotto shaded by fig trees known by legend as the bathing place of Aphrodite is also located here. The Troodos Mountains, again of magnificent beauty, is a must with skiing in the winter months. These are just a few of the wonderful places you can visit, whether you are looking for sun, sea and relaxation or taking to the open roads to explore, you will not be disappointed!

The Kato Paphos / Universal Gardens area

The apartment is on a peaceful Complex with the added benefit of only being a short walk from anywhere. There are 2 mini markets just around the corner, a vegetable, meat and fish market also close by and the Pathos Mall with supermarket only 5 minutes by car.

Restaurants and Tavernas are close by on the Tombs of the Kings road, with the the Tombs of the Kings site dating back to 4th century BC. The Harbour, no more than a 20 minute walk is dotted with shops, restaurants & cafes, plenty of night-life for the young in their own area in Bar street, and sights of interest such as the Mosaics and 13th century castle. Pathos town is but just a stones throw away with lots of back streets to follow, stopping to enjoy a drink in one of the local tavernas or visiting the market for lace and leather goods.

The municipal beach is less than 5 minutes by car, or a 20 minute stroll away with cafe, sunbeds and water sports including para-gliding! If wanting to keep the kids busy, try the Paphos water park with many slides and activities or the karting track for all ages and experience, both close by.

For golfers you can try out Aphrodite Hills, Tsada or Secret Valley 18 hole golf courses, all within a 30 minute drive. What makes your holiday even more enjoyable is the mediterranean climate. Cyprus is bathed in sunshine over 300 days a year, with average temperatures from 85-100 F in the summer months and between 60-70 F the rest of the year.

Driving is made easy with road signs being in both Greek and English and driving on the left hand side of the road. The Cypriot people are very warm and friendly with a genuine love of children, family being a core element in their culture.

Paphos International Airport is only a 20 minute drive from the Apartment, and Larnaca is a 75 minute drive. Car hire is available at either Airport, alternatively we can arrange transfers using a local Taxi service or you can make your own arrangements using one of the Airport Taxis. “Wonderful week spent in Paphos, Apartment Diana” On arriving at the apartment we were met by the management team who were very helpful, showing us how everything worked etc.The apartment its self was lovely,everything we needed and more, stylish decor,modern comfortable furnishings,two beautiful bathrooms,large balcony again well furnished. The pool area was very peaceful, no worries about reserving sunloungers! We booked a midweek freshen up which was very good, fresh towels and linen etc.. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the harbour,with its various bars and restaurants,a favourite of ours was The Windmill Restaurant, family run, great food,great service and atmosphere. We also visited some historical sights all within walking distance at the harbour,although there is still plenty more we would like to see so will definitely be returning. Having had such a lovely week with perfect weather, location and apartment we would recommend Apt Diana without hesitation.

“Lovely apartment, away from noise but near the nightlife when wanted” This apartment is beautifully furnished and in a lovely, largely residential block. Quiet pools for relaxing and sunbathing. Short walk to harbour area, bars, restaurants and nightlife. Also close to shops and bus routes to beaches. Easy to park. Diane could not have been more helpful nor could her friends when we arrived. The taxi was organised and excellent. Overall a fabulous stay.

April 2011 - Bakers. This was our second stay at the Apartment, a home from home. We love Pathos and the people are so friendly. We cannot wait to come again.

June 2011 - Reeves party. We had a great time and thought the apartment was lovely. Managed to use the Gym a couple of times and it was nice having the pool all to ourselves. We hired a car and took your advice and went to Polis and Pissouri which was wonderful and so was the drive back!

June 2011 - Taylor party. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful apartment. It way surpassed our expectations. Beautifully decorated, quality furnishings and kitchen. It was a nice area and much closer to the harbour area than we thought and easy for buses to coral bay. The Management team were very helpful and welcoming, and the Taxi transfer was excellent! Brilliant all round, I would recommend it to anyone going to Cyprus!!

July 2011 - Drew Party. We had a wonderful stay in Cyprus, and we all agreed the Apartment & Complex suited our needs really well. We loved the DVD collection. We enjoyed travelling to Polis & found a lovely Beech at Latchi and the coastal route back to Pathos was breath holding, but stunning scenery. The Management Team ensured we had a warm welcome & helped us orientate ourselves, the welcome pack was also appreciated. Many thanks for letting us share your holiday home.

Sept 2011 - Warham party. We LOVED the apartment. The Appliances everything was perfect, and will definately be looking to book next year. We had the pool to ourselves 90% of the time, and found not having to wake up at the crack of dawn to get sunbeds, like you do on complexes, very useful! The holiday was exactly what we needed and was a lot hotter than what we expected. It wasn't a problem without a car, the buses are amazing and everything was walkable anyway! Thanks for letting us rent your apartment.

Oct 2011 - Kennedy party. The apartment met all our expectations and more, it is very tastefully furnished, the beds are very comfortable which is unusual as they are very often old and uncomfortable. You have thought of everything, the small touches were very appreciated, ie the dirty washing containers, ipod docking station, DVD player and DVD's etc. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was there. The pool area was lovely and quiet which we made full use of. I will definitely recommend your apartment to my friends and if I come to Paphos again I will be in touch.
