This beautiful 3 bedroom apartment has just been completed and is situated right in the centre of Chamonix, close to all the shops, restaurants, and bars. It is over 90sqm and has 2 double bedrooms, and a 3rd twin / single bedroom as well as two bathrooms and a separate WC. The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard with top quality linen and bedding, designer lights and fittings, contemporary leather furniture and high-tech audio-visual equipment, along with wifi internet. On top of all this, it is in a great location, and has a great open plan living space with a sunny balcony looking directly over the town towards Mont Blanc itself.

The apartment is on the second floor of the newly built residence 'Le Paradis', which is between Allee du Recteur Payot and Chemin des Fleurs. On your doorstep are the supermarket, the cinema, the casino, as well as all of Chamonix's fantastic bars, restaurants and shops.

For skiing, the apartment is 2 minutes walk from the drag lift at Club-Med, which gives direct access to the Brevent telecabine without the need for a car.

Bookings are usually Saturday to Saturday, but we are flexible on your dates and also offer season letting. Just let us know your requirements and we will work out a price for you.

We are also happy to offer discounts on bookings of more than week.

As a security against damages Chamonix All Year, who manage the apartment, will also pre-authorise a damage deposit of £400.00 on your bank card. They will contact you to request these bank card details once your booking is confirmed by Holiday Lettings and the damage deposit will be pre-authorised approx. 7-10 days before your arrival in Chamonix. This will be automatically released 28 days after the date it is authorised and only once the accommodation has been checked after your departure. If you would like the authorisation cancelled sooner than this automatic release then please contact us after your departure.

The Rhône-Alpes region

Chamonix is the perfect holiday destination for any season! You'll be surprised at the size of this alpine mountain town and the amount it has to offer you. Chamonix sits at the foot of Mont Blanc in the heart of the French Alps, displaying glaciers and breathtaking views of the snow capped mountains all around.

The skiing in Chamonix has a reputation for steep unforgiving runs, and there is enough on-piste challenge to provide a work-out for even the most advanced skiers. There is also plenty of skiing for the intermediate skier, enormous off-piste potential and some of the best ski touring in the world.

Historic Chamonix is a cosmopolitan town full of life and incredible scenery. In addition to the Ski season for which it is famous, there are hundreds of shops, countless restaurants, bars, clubs and a casino. There is also the sports centre with indoor and outdoor pools, ice rink, rock climbing, paragliding, water rafting, mountain bike trails and an 18 hole golf course. There's always plenty to do for the children too. Chamonix also has a the highest cable car in Europe to take you to the top of Mont Blanc and the Montenvers train to visit the Sea of Ice glacier and ice grotto. Plus cinema, Alpine Museum and a local market on Saturday morning - selling a wide range of local produce.

With a huge range of on and off mountain activities, there is something for everyone throughout the year. Chamonix is a place you'll want to come back to time and time again!

Chamonix Town Centre

Alpinism, or mountaineering, was invented in Chamonix in 1760 by a swiss naturist called Horace Benedict de Saussure. His challenge to anyone willing to attempt it, was to climb Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe with it's peak at 4,808m / 15,774 ft. Until then, no-one had thought of climbing mountains for fun. The challenge was finally accomplished 26 years later in 1786, by Jacques Balmat & Dr Paccard. A statue celebrating their success stands in Place Balmat today.

Alpinism became hugely popular amongst the Victorian middle-classes in England and across Europe, with Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix being formed in 1821 and the first ever winter olympics being held here in 1924. Today, Chamonix has around 10,000 permanent inhabitants, with a further 30,000 visiting in the winter, and 60,000 people in resort during the summer months, and has around 5 million visitors per year.

Situated at 45°55'8?N, 6°51'55?E, Chamonix is an hour's drive from Geneva, and the Chamonix valley runs from northeast to southwest, with Mont Blanc (4,808m) towering over the southeast, and Le Brevant (2525m) on the northwest. The valley is made up of a number of hamlets including Le Tour (1,462m) at the top of the valley, through Argentiere (1,252m), Les Praz (1,060m), Chamonix (1,035m), Les Bossons (1,12m) & Les Houches (796m). The valleys is connect to Martigny in Switzerland via the Col de Montets (1,461m) and is an hour drive from the Swis ski resort of Verbier.

"Très bien"

Bel appartement, meublé avec goût, contemporain. Excellente localisation Equipement pour la cuisine un peu juste pour six personnes, parfait pour deux ou quatre. Proximité du "club med" parfois un peu gênante sur le plan sonore si l'on est sur la terrasse. Sinon: PARFAIT

Merci pour votre avis. Nous ferons un nouveau inventaire bientôt dans l'appartement et remplacerons tous ce qu'il manque. Nous espèrons vous accueillir une prochaine fois à Chamonix. - Chamonix All Year team

"excellent apartment and location"

The apartment was excellent, it was in a central location just a minute's walk form the high street with all its shops, bars and restaurant's. Great wi-fi access, spacious and well laid out, with fantastic views of Mt Blanc from the balcony.

"Lovely apartment. Perfectly located. Already planning next years trip!"

This is the 6th time I've stayed in Chamonix (i love the place!) - always in different apartments or villas but Le Paradis rates right up there at the top. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and decorated to the highest standard (...I loved the Kenzo cushions in the lounge and bedrooms!!). There is a fantastic view of Mont Blanc & the Aiguille du Midi from the balcony - a great place to sit sipping wine after a day's walking. The Super U is just a 2 minute walk away although I would recommend trying to buy as much as you can outside of Chamonix - the supermarkets are all very expensive! The agents were also great - very helpful. I would highly recommend using them to book your lift passes in advance as well as booking parapenting which was absolutely fantastic! My only small complaint was that the car park whilst very secure, is across a busy road so loading and unloading at the start and end of the holiday was difficult. There is limited waiting space right outside the apartment but no guarantee of a space so it is a bit of a lottery. Difficult to unload with just two people but with more, it would have been easier. Despite that, we will definitely be looking at this apartment again next year. Can't wait to go back!
