About the home

The 4 Star Flora apartments in Borovets are situated just 50 meters from the main lift station and are right in the centre of Borovets close to all the local amenities. The apartments were opened in December 2005 by no other than the Bulgarian Prime Minister and are the in place to stay in Borovets with fantastic facilities including- Indoor Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Fitness Centre, massage centre, table tennis room, restaurants and bar and even a casino and offers some of the best skiing in Bulgaria. Located in the basement is a ski room to safely leave all your skiing equipment. The apartment itself has a spacious living room/bedroom which has a three seater sofa bed and a matching armchair. It also has a coffee table and cable TV(.It is possible to connect your MP3 player to the TV to share your favourite music) The bedroom is fitted with modern furniture and has a spectacular view overlooking Borovets. The kitchen, which is separate, is fitted with a cooker, hob and extractor fan. There is also a fridge, coffee machine(with own filter), toaster and kettle. The central hallway, which serves all three rooms, has a full length mirror as well as coat hooks and storage place for hats, gloves etc The bathroom is off the central hallway.

The Flora apartments provide luxurious accommodation where you can enjoy a winter holiday with the whole family while engrossed in the splendour of Bulgaria’s most famous ski resort.

The apartment is located on the 7th floor and can comfortably accommodate 4 people.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest and most famous ski resort. It is built on the slopes of Mount Musala, which at nearly 3,000 metres above sea level is one of the highest peaks in the Balkans, and it offers 23 ski runs catering to every ability level. Perfect climate for skiing,snowboarding, alpine skiing, biathlon, ski-do with average snow coverage from Dec-April. Visit Rila Monastary and try jeep safari; bars and restaurants are plentiful offering traditional and international cuisine.

The Borovets area

There are 45 km of pistes varying in difficulty and length for skiing and snowboarding. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Several floodlit pistes also allow late night fun on the snow. The Borovets ski school has more than 200 ski instructors fluent in foreign languages and some of them are former professional skiers.

Mountain lovers from all over Europe converge on the resort to partake in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, ice-skating, and night-skiing.


Within 20 to30 minutes’ drive there is the highly regarded Ihtiman golf course, the nearby towns of Kostenets and Samokov, with facilities for shopping and eating out, a private airfield offering light aircraft or helicopter flights over the area for about £40, and boating facilities on the very beautiful and impressive Lake Iskar. Slightly further afield is the Rila Monastery (about 90 minutes), Bulgaria’s largest and most famous monastery, founded in 927 AD and hidden high in the Rila mountains. Alternatively there are hot mineral springs nearby for bathing

Borovets also offers fantastic apres ski and night-life with its multitude of bars, cafes, night clubs and discos that stay open into the early morning. A night out is extremely good value for money a 3 course meal with wine that can be enjoyed for under £10!!

Full balance of rental will be due two months prior to start date of holiday. There is a refundable deposit of £100, held against loss or damage. This is to be paid at the same time as the full balance and will be refunded after your holiday.
