Brand new Royal Plaza Complex is located on the main street between the Rila and Samokov Hotels, which are the best hotels in Borovets, and occupiers are able to use the amenities of both hotels.

Only 2 min. walking distance to the Gondola lift and Chair lifts. Apartment is fully furnished with high spec. Equipment & TV and comprises of entrance hall, Living room, open plan kitchen, bedroom, bathroom/toilet and balcony overlooking the picturesque mountains, gondola station, main street shops and restaurants.

Every apartment has their own secured ski depot and complex is looked after 24hrs by personnel. Airport transfers can also be arranged upon request.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Well known as a ski and snowboard resort Borovets is completely family friendly. With new runs, gondolas and modern facilities Borovets is on course to win the 2014 Winter Olympics!

But don't think you have to visit in winter - the summer brings great conditions for walking and outdoor pursuits, with some of the best mountain views in Europe.

The Borovets area

There are 45 km of pistes varying in difficulty and length for skiing and snowboarding. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, with international markings and multilingual signs. Several floodlit pistes also allow late night skiing. The Borovets ski school has ski instructors fluent in foreign languages and some of them are former professional skiers.

Mountain lovers from all over Europe converge on the resort to partake in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, ice-skating, and night-skiing.

Borovets also offers fantastic apres ski and night-life to suit all ages. A multitude of bars, cafes, night clubs and discos stay open into the early morning. A night out is extremely good value for money especially with special 'happy hour' discounts and a 3 course meal that can be enjoyed for under £10!!

The resort offers flights by helicopter above the Borovets area, so that you can view & enjoy the beautiful nature of the Rila mountain. Slightly further afield is the Rila Monastery (about 90 minutes), Bulgaria’s largest and most famous monastery, founded in 927 AD and hidden high in the Rila mountains.
