The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
On the Bodrum peninsula, situated in a wooded area, between green hills and beautiful bays, the picturesque location Gundogan. On the entire peninsula, no buildings can be found higher than 2 layers,, but picturesque villages with whitewashed houses. Gundogan and villages in the area have intimate sandy beaches, crystal clear water, greenery, cozy marinas and a variety of restaurants, cafes and (lounge) bars. The area has an enormous attraction to the Turkish jet set. with their luxurious yachts.. Gundogan is thus becoming increasingly popular as a (luxurious) vacation, but has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. The village is well equipped but also has plenty of headroom and plenty of typical Turkish influences.
The town of Bodrum is known as one of the most beautiful and luxurious resorts on the Aegean Sea and is fifteen minutes away from Gundogan. In the harbor you will find great restaurants, shops, bars and a beautiful promenade stroll that takes you past the ancient castle and the marina carries. In the late hours the entertainment paradise Gumbet is something for you. It is directly behind the hill-town of Bodrum. There has recently been working hard on the infrastructure on the island. A great paved highway takes you in 35 minutes drive from Bodrum / Milas-Bodrum airport to the city and 45 minutes to the Villa in Gundogan. If you land during the day, the way to the destination is already unforgettable: palm trees, beautiful houses and views of the bays make the ride worthwhile.Near Gündogan there are a lot ofother lively and beautiful villages and places. like Bitez, Yalikavak etc.
