Villa Poseidon is a fantastic modern holiday home for families seeking relaxation by a large Private Pool in a quiet and peaceful environment and also wishing to be in close proximity to a very lively town centre.
This beautiful Villa and its location offer just that.
You can enjoy the Villa and relax by the large pool and when you wish, in no time, you can find yourself embraced by the offerings of Touristic Central Bodrum ( bars, restaurants, shops, the seafront, the Castle and the Marina...).
The historic and hugely popular Bodrum Town Centre is within easy reach (10 minute flat walk) to discover its history, riches and joys.The Town Centre is also the place to go for services provided to further discover the splendid Bodrum Peninsula and surrounding areas.
This Villa is a three-storey Holiday Home :
Lower Ground Floor is accessed from our private road through a remote-controlled secure garage. It has a large double room,a bathroom,a utility room and a flight of stairs leading up to the Ground Floor.
Ground Floor accommodates the sitting room ,the kitchen and dining area with doors to a large balcony,and a cloak-room.This Floor is accessed from our private road through a metal gate and travertine steps that lead up to the main entrance door, as well as to the Balcony and the Pool area.
Top Floor has three bedrooms,a large balcony and two bathrooms,one being en suite.
The large Private Pool is 4mX10m with plenty of sunbathing area and sunbeds.The shallower oval end is 1.35m and the square deeper end is 1.75m deep.

The Bodrum / Central Bodrum area
Villa Poseidon is situated in Central Bodrum Town and the town centre is only a few minutes of easy- walk away.
Bodrum, called Halicarnassos in antiquity, has a long history and is rich with historical places,monuments and remains.
For example, Heredotus,known as father of history was born here in 484 BC.The splendid Bodrum (or St Peter's) Castle, The Tomb of King Mausolos (one of the seven wonders of the ancient world), the antique theatre are amongst the many sites that you can visit within Central Bodrum.
Actually,the whole of Bodrum Peninsula is full with historically significant remains and locations.This is in addition to numerous dream-like beaches and several holiday villages that are dotted around the Bodrum Peninsula with beautiful nature, crystal clear seas,stunning coastal sceneries and water sport activities like wind-surfing.
Bodrum Town is famous for bazaars,shopping,excellent restaurants,bars, lively night life and daily or weekly boat trips into the blue and clean waters in the vicinity.
The Bodrum Town Centre is also the ideal location to easily get to all the places of interest to you in and around the Peninsula. These may be fabulous sandy beaches, Wind Surfing, Aquaparks,Turkish Bath,Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Jeep Safari...

Bodrum is a major touristic location in Turkey and Bodrum-Milas (BJV) airport is only 30 km away from Central Bodrum.
There are direct charter flights from major UK (and European) airports, April to October, and indirect flights via Istanbul.
Domestic flights to Bodrum are frequent all the year round by Turkish Airlines,Pegasus,Anadolu Jet and others.
Transfer from the airport to Villa Poseidon takes around 30 minutes.Reasonably priced taxies are available at the airport. Private transfer or car rental can be arranged for you and delivered at the airport or at the Villa,at an additional cost.

We visited Villa Poseidon a few weeks ago and had a lovely stay. We were a group of five ladies (all in our early thirties) looking for some sunshine and relaxation away from the stress of London living. The reason we chose the villa was it's proximity to the centre of Bodrum and the size and space, the decent size pool was a big draw too. It didn't disappoint. It was immaculate and we had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable there are four bathrooms with new suites. (There's also a garage- we hired a car so it was most useful) The owners live opposite, gave us a warm welcome and were on hand if we needed them but left us to our own devices. This time of year is perfect weather wise- we had warm sunshine nearly everyday and it was around the mid-late thirties. Bodrum itself was pretty quiet. Apparently most tourists (Turkish and foreign) have left by this time of year. This had its perks and downsides. If you're looking for nightlife then it's there but you'll be faced with empty bars. The restaurants were ticking over though. We went to relax though and we certainly did. There is a refundable breakage deposit of €350 and a standard cleaning charge of €75 p/w.
Electricity is to be paid at the end of stay following meter readings ( cost per week in summer 2012 varied from €25 to €80 depending on season and amount of consumption ).
No charge will be made for the use of water.
The Villa will be ready for guests after 4pm on arrival day.Check-out time is by 10am on departure day.Alternative arrangements are to be negotiated with the owners.
