The Canima complex is very clean and well looked after and because of its excellent frontline promenade location is very popular. It is only a 5 minute walk away from Benalmadena Marina. This 1 bedroom apartment has a good size outside space and gets plenty of summer sun until mid afternoon. For more sunshine you could move around to the superb pool and garden area which has a large pool for adults and a smaller children's pool for the little ones. Or you may like to stay on your own patio and enjoy the welcome shade. With this apartment you get the best of both worlds.
The apartment has metered air conditioning/heating in the lounge and bedroom.
For guests who have use of a car there is secure car parking. A 50 euro deposit is required for the car park gate remote control. This will be returned at the end of the holiday on return of the remote.

On entering the apartment the well equipped kitchen area is on the right with a full oven and 4 ring electric hob. On the left is the bathroom with corner bath and shower and the bedroom with twin beds and wardrobe space.
In the lounge area there is a double sofa bed which seats 3 and a separate armchair. There are 3 stools at the breakfast bar. There is a television with free to view channels and a DVD player. Off the lounge through a patio door is the terrace area.

Outside is a wooden table and 6 chairs and 2 sun loungers for guest use either on the terrace/garden area or around the pool.
Although this apartment is marked as smokers welcome smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. We ask our smoking guests to use the outside space and thank them for their co-operation.
Travel cots, pushchairs, high chairs, sun loungers, beach umbrellas, cool boxes, fans are all available for hire. Enquire about rental costs.
Other apartments available for rent from studios to a villa with private pool.
Bed linen and 1 bath and 1 hand towel provided per week for each guest. Beach towels are not provided but are available for rent at a cost of €2.50 per guest per stay.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa Del Sol is pretty much an all year round weather resort with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. There are plenty places of interest to visit or you can just relax and unwind. Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba or the Sierra Nevada mountains in the winter for skiing are all within easy travelling distances by car or train. The famous Rock of Gibraltar is only an hours drive away.
Benalmadena is split into three areas being Benalmadena Pueblo the old Spanish style village, Arroyo De La Miel the busy town area where you will find the train station and Benalmadena Costa, the beach area.
Benalmadena Pueblo has a quiet pace of life with white washed Spanish houses and a lovely square which is an ideal place to stop and have lunch. The church is worth a visit and outside has stunning views down to the coast. The local bull ring is here too.
Arroyo De la Miel is a much busier area with shops and restaurants. Tivoli World Amusement Park is in Arroyo and this is where they hold one of the local Friday markets. The cable car runs from here and at the top you will be rewarded with a falconry display.
Benalmadena Costa is the coastal area where you will find the world famous Puerto Marina.
The people who visit Benalmadena return year after year as the area has so much to offer.

A first class location. Very clean and comfortable and perfect for a couple or family of 4. We very much enjoyed spending our days in the lovely uncrowded garden by the pool where there is plenty of shade under the palm trees if the sun is too strong. The apartment is on the ground floor so no steps to hike up and down - just a lazy stroll to the pool. Sun beds provided. Easy access to the promenade and beautiful beach through a secure gate. From there loads of restaurants. ALthough the garden is a short walk from the promenade this isn't evident as the gardens are elevated and so there is a good deal of privacy. However, the view across the sea is very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is also very secure.
Overall a great place to stay - Nigel and Ann looked after us very well to ensure we had a good holiday.

Great Location, Great Complex, Very Secure. Patio Doors open on to patio space with table and chairs, looking out on to garden area. Few steps down on to beach and promenade, dozen or so bars/restaurants within 50 mtrs. Fantastic garden and pool area, with sea views. Local bus stops 10 mtrs away from complex where you can get a bus to Malaga, Mijas, Marbella and other locations

"LOVELY APARTMENT - FANTASTIC LOCATION"
We spent 10 fabulous days at this apartment in May and loved every minute - only sorry that we had not booked longer! The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The building and gardens are well maintained and secure. We were met by Nigel at the airport, who took us straight there and showed us round and explained how everything worked. The location is excellent, from the garden - it's just a few steps down to the promenade and beach. There are numerous restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The Marina is also a short walk from the apartment. From our initial enquiry to our return to the airport - Ann and Nigel were brilliant to deal with - nothing was too much trouble and and the welcome letter and supply of water, wine and milk was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

We have stayed in this Apartment twice a year March and October for the past two years and have booked for next March2013, We find everything about this Apartment excellent ,its location beside the beach and nice bars and restaurants, five minutes walk to the Marina.Each time we visit, the complex is quiet and the grounds are very well kept and we enjoy relaxing in the garden or beside the pool. Ann and Nigel always ensure that everything is perfect. We have recommended this Apartment to friends and family.

"Lovely apartment, excellect location."
I visited this apartment with my daughter and was impressed by the excellent presentation. We were met at the airport and shown around the apartment before the keys were handed over. There were the usual staples, tea, coffee, milk left for us as well as a rather nice bottle of wine.
The apartment block is really well maintained as are the grounds.
The promenade is accessed by steps down through a secure gate and there are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance. The Marina is also a short walk from the apartment, a 10 minute walk or a 20 minute stroll. Again there are lots of shops and restaurants.
I was on my own for part of the holiday in a ground floor apartment and felt very safe as the security to the grounds and building are excellent.
My daughter and I are planning to return in September and I could certainly recommend this apartment..

"Lovely apartment...fantastic location!!!!"
My husband and I stayed for a week from the 9th October and had a fantastic time. Apartment very clean and comfy, just round the corner from the good size clean pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. It helped that the weather was around 30 degress everyday!!!! but was cool enough to sleep at night. Couldn't ask for a better location... if you go out the back it's just down a few steps down to the promenade and beach. If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced to eat, try Pinoccio's almost beside the complex. The food is fab!!! Try the prawn pil pil (sauce is amazing) We paid for the tranfers to and from the airport and there were no hitches. Really couldn't fault anything and will definately be back at some stage. "Brilliant location, private and very quiet"
I stayed here with my Husband and Teenage Daughter in July. The location was spot on and central to everything. It was very private and quiet, maybe too quiet for my Daughter but overall very relaxing. The washing machine in the apt. was fantastic but the only drawback was we had to wash our own bed linen and towels.
Having said that, I would go back there in the morning and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
Thanks to Ann and Nigel, everything was perfect.

"Tasteful apartment in an excellent location"
The apartment is a good sized one bedded apartment, which is located on the ground floor of the instantly recognisable Canaima apartment block. The apartment has a decent semi-private outdoor terrace, which gets the sun in the morning, and is round the corner from the well maintained Canaima apartments communal pools and gardens. The apartment has a lovely large bathroom, with the luxury of a bath (with shower over), large double bedroom and a decent sized lounge / kitchen, with a large and comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is well equipped, including sky TV and air-conditioning in both lounge and bedroom. The latter is on a meter, but 1 Euro gives at least 1.5 hours with both units on. The location is excellent, and there is a private pathway (with secure gate) leading down onto the Paseo Maritimo, with it's many excellent bars and restaurants, and of course the beach. The property management company are very helpful, keep the apartment very clean and always greet guests with a bottle of something cool in the fridge! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

"Excellent apartment in a fantastic location"
From my intitial enquiry to the airport return Ann and Nigel were fantastic. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our holiday,The pool area is large and well maintained and the appartment is superbly situated for all that Benalmadena has to offer including The Marina, nightlife and The Las Palomas Park. Would recommend this appartment.
