“Great for a larger group” We stayed for a bit over two weeks in April and had a blast. We are a family of 5 and had the grandparents over for a few days as well, no problem finding room for everyone. Everything in the house worked just fine, special thanks to Manuela who helped us out any way she could. Getting to the house is easy, about 15-20 mins from the airport, but make sure you print out the map, 3 out of 4 taxis from the airport couldn't find the right house. To get around (grocery shopping etc) you really should consider renting a car as the terrain is quite the killer on untrained legs even without bags of shopping to carry. The nearby pueblo is a nice place to hang out, loads of small restaurants to relax in, and for longer trips by car the distances are quite manageable (Torremolinos 15mins Fuengirola ditto). The house itself is very large, I found myself looking for my kids in the house almost daily, perhaps a bit too much of a sprawl for a small entourage. Outside in the garden the pool is fabulous but just a few centimeters too deep for our 3-year old to find footing. That said we spent a few hours of every single day in it. The garden is huge (great for hide and seek) and there's even a small pond with fish in it. We didn't get to try either of the barbeques in the front and back garden (that's right, there are two), but they looked well cared for and on our next stay we'll look to rectify that. A beautiful Spanish house with gardens and pool. Stunning views.

We don't want to leave! This lovely and well equipped villa has been home for 9 days. We are a family group of 5 adults spanning 3 generations and we have all enjoyed the property, its pool and its peaceful location on the hillside. The Pueblo is a 15/20 minute steep walk uphill or a 5 minute car or taxi ride. Lovely restaurants, bars, shops and cobbled plant-lined streets. The coast is a half hour steep downhill walk but 10 mins by car. The owners were extremely helpful during the booking process and answered questions by email before we arrived. They arranged for Janeth to meet us when we arrived and she showed us around the villa and the grounds. What have we enjoyed the most? Sitting on the terrace at the big table, with views of the nearby golf course and the coast, sipping wine, chatting, laughing and playing cards. We all agreed this had been a great villa for a relaxing break. Highly recommended. … see more

Great holiday villa

Just returned from a two weeks stay in this Villa, we took all our family - daughter & husband, son and partner and five grandchildren (ages 14 to 2yr old). The villa is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. The villa allowed us to find a quiet place to read away from the hustle & bustle of everyone else when we needed it. We all loved the pool and had plenty of fun in it. Many bar-b-q's were eaten and all agreed that we had a great time. The only thing I would say is that the two ground level bedrooms that open out to the pool area could do with air conditioning as we suffered uncomfortably hot nights. Marie and John who look after the villa are very pleasant and helpful and are on hand for any little issues. Certainly would return. … see more

A wonderful family holiday

A lovely time was had by all in our party of 6 adults (ages ranging from 30-65) and 2 children aged 5 and 2. We spent 2 weeks here and could have stayed longer. There are lots of steps but they are worth it to give you the amazing views once at the top! We didn't hire a car and found walking to the Pueblo fine, even with 2 little ones, about 30mins. The local bus service was really good for getting out and about too. The villa kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms are a good size, there was plenty of space for the eight of us. The kids loved the bunk beds and having inflatables and buckets there for them to use was great. The pool was cleaned each week and is plenty big enough. This was our first family villa holiday and we all agreed we would love to do it again! … see more

Great Place To Stay

This is a great apartment in a brilliant location being in the middle of Benalmadena old town which is a lovely place to stay as it has a more traditional spanish feel to it rather than down at the beach end. lots of great bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk and 2 supermarkets close by too. The apartment is very clean and has everything you will need and more. Well equiped kitchen, plenty of towels in the bathroom and having a washing machine was great. Living room has a sea view and looks over the swimming pool which on most days was very quiet you could take a swim whenever you wanted. This being a residential block it was nice and quiet with no noise at any time and also is kept very clean. No car is needed as there is a great bus service from outside the apartment. We got the bus up to Mijas which was only around 3 euros for both of us. We went to the Picasso museum in Mijas which was worth a look, the butterfly park is about a 15 minute walk up the road which was amazing and there is also a great monument in Benalmedina built in honour to Columbus which is worth a visit and about a 20 minute walk. You can also do a cable car ride, the entrance is across from Tivoli World at Arroyo de la Miel train station and you can take the bus from ouside the door to there. We would definately like to come back to this apartment as it felt like a home from home to us but even better. Thanks to David for arrainging our arrival and for a wonderfull stay. Wow just WOW

What an AMAZING apartment. This apartment will blow you away from the moment you walk in. Me, my husband and 9 year old son had the pleasure of being able to rent this apartment for ten days in August and we didn't want to leave when it was time to check out. The apartment is fully equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need, it is comfy and has a homely feel to it.  The views from the terrace a spectacular and the apartment block its self is quiet and very well kept.  We went to the pool most days and it felt like we had our own private pool, there was never anymore than five people around the pool at any one time, with our son being the only one using it. Glyn was amazing from day one, he was always messaging me to keep me updated date with details and he made sure that their was someone waiting with keys when we arrived (Yvonne). Yvonne greeted us with the most warmest welcome, told us everything we needed to know about the apartment and was on hand if we needed anything. What a lovely lady (we wanted to take her back to the UK). We will definitely be booking this apartment again, we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Benelmadena.
