About the home

This fabulous villa has recently been completely refurbished to a very high standard and set in stunning grounds that include a swimming pool with children area as well as a large patio area with BBQ to provide ample room for sunbathing and al fresco dining. There is also a vineyard and numerous fruit trees.

The villa is set in Gurkovo which is a very traditional Bulgarian village, and is located approximately 7 miles from the historic fishing and beach resort town of Balchik and even closer to the new golf course that are in the area.
Gurkovo is an extremely tranquil place surrounded by open sunflower fields in the summer months that are quite stunning.

The villa is set over one floor and comprises as follows:

Spacious open plan lounge / dining area with large sofa (that converts into a double bed if required) and a dining table that can seat up to 6 people.

Full equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge etc

Bedroom 1 – large bedroom with double bed , wardrobe and drawers. There is also and en- suite bathroom containing shower, toilet and basin.

Bedroom 2 – Large bedroom with double bed, and wardrobe and additional storage.

Bedroom 3 - Large twin-bedded room with wardrobe and additional storage.

Separate bathroom containing shower, toilet and basin.

The villa is also equipped with a security system for your complete peace of mind.

All bed linen and towels are provided. The villa is cleaned regularly.

Good sized swimming pool with smaller separate children's paddling pool area. Large patio area finished in natural stone with BBQ, extensive flower beds and garden area including vineyard and various fruit trees.

The Black Sea Coast region

The Balchik / Gurkovo area

Balchik is a 2600 years old town, a seaside resort that combines the romance of its steep streets with the beauty of the sea. For a long time it has been known as the White Town for the mainly white colour of its lime rocks.

The town is attractive to tourists with its ancient atmosphere that has been preserved for centuries now. The ancient now lies side by side with the modern. The steep, cobblestone streets lined with whitewashed, red-tiled houses now lead down to the harbour that is being renovated into a new yacht port.

Restaurants and shops nestle along the harbour edge along with the newly constructed hotels and apartments. On the outskirts of the town lie the new golf courses that are being built all leading to the continuing reputation that the area will become the most exclusive in Bulgaria for the golfing and yachting crowds.

Flights available from Gatwick to Varna with BA or Bulgaria Air. Varna to villa approx 20 miles, we also arrange airport pick up and drop off and car hire if required.
