The Space:The apartment was fully refurbished in July 2014 so as to offer the guests ample space along with all the necessary amenities with a touch of luxury and good taste.The Entrance: square like area leading to the open plan living/dining area on one side and the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the other. Furnished with a desk, chair and armchair it can accommodate the businessperson while welcoming you to the house.The Living and Dining area: 30 sq. metre-wooden floored, open plan area with big corner sofa, big coffee table, 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo Hi-Fi player, fast WiFi Internet, antique dining table with 6 antique chairs and big doors that open to the terrace (table and chairs).The Kitchen: fitted, fully equipped small size kitchen with foldable table and stools, with a big window over the sink to let the light and the air in.All the necessary utensils and electric devices are provided (2ble door fridge, cooker, oven, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, iron, ironing board, cutlery and crockery)Breakfast is included to the price and comprises of filter coffee, tea (variety), sugar and honey (portions), butter (portions), homemade marmalade and rusks.For the chefs-to-be a Greek cooking book in English is provided so that you cook your very own Greek dish.The Bathroom: well lit and aired due to a large window, fully tiled walls, equipped with a full size bathtub, hot water, hairdryer, towels, tissue rolls, liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo, first aid kit and sawing kit for quick repairs.The Bedroom: spacious wooden floored room with King size bed. Linen is provided (Egyptian cotton sheets, down feather pillows and covers), 2 night stands, dresser, spacious wardrobe, ceiling fan and a balcony.The Neighbourhood:The apartment is situated on the 1st floor of an apartment building with elevator and is located in a very safe and quiet area of Athens, close to the Athens Concert Hall and the American Embassy. Within walking distance to Panormou Area (a vibrant area filled with a variety of restaurants (from gourmet to take-away), bars, clubs, pubs, coffee shops and all kinds of night life. Right off the entrance of the apartment building you can find a bakery, a small supermarket, a hair salon, a bank, a butcher's shop, a grocery shop, and right across the street a well known Pilates studio (for those who need to stay fit, even on vacation).The centre of the city (Syntagma square) along with all the archaeological sites (Acropolis), museums and sightseeing areas (Plaka) are easily accessible via a variety of transportation such as the Metro (Line 3-Blue Line, Katehaki station), the Blue Buses (stop located at the corner of Ilidos & Kifissias Ave.), the Yellow Trolley Buses (from Kifissias Ave.)Other Things to Note:Cell/Mobile phone with a Greek number is available for guest use.Selection of maps, guides and variety of programmes for the Athens Concert Hall, the National Opera, concerts (jazz, rock, folk etc. music), and local events.Guided tours and sightseeing are available at an extra cost. All you need to do is ask for it.Transfers from and to the airport are available upon request at an extra cost
